Decoration of the City

Throughout the carnival period, the city is decorated accordingly. In the past, the decorations were limited to relevant small constructions, but, for many years now, consist of large constructions, made by the Carnival Workshop and placed in squares and pedestrian areas - abundant lights and constructions made of lights, banners, flags ect.

These decorations cover the whole city centre and, since 2002, have gradually spread to the residential neighborhoods. Factory-produced carnival decorations dominate in clubs, cafes and taverns.
