One of the delightful pieces of architecture in Kirov
is the House of Tikhon Bulychev.
People call it "castle".
The name of the park "Apollo" came from (as it is supposed)
the name of some American theatre company
which was on tour in Vyatka in the 19 century.
Sorry to say the constructions of those years haven`t preserved.
But still the park is the most favourite place
for children to play in.
Volodarsky Street
Volodarsky Street is in the historical centre of modern Kirov.
It appeared at the end of the 18th century when the city grew,
its population increased, and new areas outside
the Kremlin walls were inhabited.
In each city nowadays there are quite a lot of streets
named after famous people.
Moskovskaya Street
Moskovskaya Street is one of the oldest streets in the city.
It dates back to the 15th century.
So, its more than 400 years old.
From the place we are now, we can see the vyatka river
and its embankment with a tall 12-matre monument
to the perished in the great Patriotic War.
At the foot of the monument there is the Eternal Fire.
