Doberman:

Dobermans can seem scary at first to a new dog owner, but once well trained they will become very obediant and protective towards you. Their colours are: Black and tan, chocolate and tan, and red. The picture above shows a chocolate and tan and a black and tan Doberman.

Rottweiler:

Rotties are often, as are Dobermans, thought to be brutal, hard dogs, and although they are well built and often like to run and jump at people and pull hard on a leash if not trained, they are really gentle giants when well looked after.

Great Dane:

These gentle giants can be very placid, although they need a lot of exercise and training if you want a rewarding and strong relationship with your dog. They come in a great many colours, from fawn to harlequin (black and white) and from blue to pure white. The dog above is a harlequin Great Dane.

Saint Bernard:

The Saint Bernard is very gentle and a big couch potato. They love being petted and bond with their owner very quicky. Their sharp sense of smell and hearing, along with their kind appearence and intelligence, Saint Bernards are well known as mountain rescue dogs.
