The Bernese Mountain Dog is one of my favourite dog. Unfortunately they don't live really old. In fact, the average life expectancy of a Bernese Mountain Dog is around 8 years old. The Bernese Mountain Dog, is a big dog that weights generally between 80 lbs and 110 lbs. They have a double coat so they love winter and cold places! Their coat is black, white and rust. They are from Switzerland. |

Temperament
The Bernese Mountain Dog is a great dog to have around small children. They are very loyal and love to be close to their owner. They are really kind dog and they are not agressive. They do not need a lot of exercise and they are pretty intelligent dog. |

| Interesting facts
-The Bernese Mountain Dog is a breed that loves to work. They are extremely strong and they are able to pull heavy carts. You shouldn't make your puppy pull a cart though. You have to wait until he is adult.
-Because the Bernese Mountain Dog is a kind and calm dog, they are often use as guide dog for blind people.
