Hello, my name is Georgia Lininger and I am an author publishing my first two books this year, due out before Christmas. One is a children's funny picture book. The other is called Through Wind and Fire, about elephants in the wild in Africa and Asia, the ivory and wildlife trade industries, and circuses and zoos. It also focuses on rescued dogs and cats. I think there are a lot of people out there who could relate to this story through their own experiences and desire to help animals.

 Ever sense I was a little girl, I've loved elephants. I don't know when it all started, but it's been in my mind for as long as I can remember. In one of my classes this year we were supposed to say something we liked. I couldn't think of anything so I said "Ummm... I like elephants." From then on, everyone looked at me like I was crazy, but I made friends because of my love for elephants! Elephants are amazing, I even got to ride one once!!!! :D |

J'adore les éléphants, c'est mon animal préféré depuis que je suis toute petite. Ce sont des animaux très intelligents doux,gentils et intéressants... C'est vraiment horrible qu'ils se fassent tuer pour leurs défenses par des braconniers. Mon rêve serait d'en voir en Afrique ou en Asie.
j'espère qu'on arrêtera de les tuer,et qu'il en restera beaucoup dans le monde pour les générations futures. |
