Hey everyone! I work as a lifeguard at a Boy Scout camp during the summer. My main tasks are to make sure no one drowns, to take care of the waterfront, and to teach kayaking and canoeing to the Scouts. The pay is pretty low, but it's loads of fun! |

Canoeing is a very great sport, but in winter we only do training in the gym-I didn`t like that! I also drive little competitions and it`s very fun. We are a little club and our boats are not the best, but the first is that they drive!:P |

sorry to all u wonderful canoeing people out there, but i tried canoeing when i was younger, i use to go tandem with my mum,but the wind always caught one end and spun us round. anyway, my mum got arthritis and couldn't come with me any more, and i dint like it with out her, so i gave up.
Then just before I moved house, i found this club that ran out of the loch down the road from me and in the winter, they had pool sessions once a week at the local pool. i went along one night, and i tried it and i have never looked back. i went down a river for the first time a couple if months ago, and now i am learning how to roll.
when i am older i hope to go to Canada and paddle in one of the many lakes and mabt go down a river.

kayak wasn't an option on the list so i chose canoeing... i do it with one of my best friends and it is alot of fun! We go on trips occaisionally too! Boys and girls go too, and my friend likes one of the boys there, hehe! :) |
You see, I dont actually go Canoeing. I Kayak. I just put in Canoeing because the list didnt have Kayaking. They are very similar sports anyways. I can tell the difference between them. If you would want to know the difference, send me measssge!!! |

I LOVE CANOEING IT IS SOOOOO FANTASTIC I used to hate it when i was small but ever since primary school i have loved it now i am in high school we go and i absolutely LOVE it |
im a scout ( 11th norwich sea scouts) i enjoy rowing and sailing as well as canoeing. i sail at decoy broads and is a member of rya ( level 1 - royal yacht associasion ) im also trying to go for a rra ( royal rowing associasion) i hope to hear from somwone.

I really like because I live near a lake. even if it is not very big it's still a good
exercise, and I assure you that if you do it well is also quite difficult.
