We will be working from october 2023 on a 2 year project. It is mainly a cultural project about our Polynesian culture, and we extend it to the English language too. We would like to find a class for a pen pals exchange first, that hopefully we will welcome at some point in Tahiti and go and visit. It will be much better if this class studies French obviously. And even better if the class comes from Hawaii, Cook Island or New Zealand as it would be perfect for the Polynesian side of the project too. Je suis enseignante de biologie dans un petit lycée de Polynésie sur une petite ile paradisiaque Raiatea.
Avec ma famille (mon mari et mes 2 enfants 7 et 10 ans) nous souhaiterions accueillir une étudiante ou toute personne intéressée (l'âge n'a pas d'importance) chez nous afin de progresser en langue et d'échanger culturellement.
Nous offrons une chambre privée avec SDE privée et WC privé, la personne sera donc logée, nourrie et blanchie.Nous ne demandons pas de travail en échange juste de partager la langue et la culture un peu tous les jours.
Notre maison se trouve au bord du lagon. Nous avons un bateau et sortons avec le WE. Nous proposons de faire participer la personne qui souhaiterait venir à nos sorties, nous prêtons un vélo.
Accueil de 1 mois ou plus en fonction de nos disponibilités.
Se serait un peu comme des vacances ...

Me gustaria mucho corresponder por e-mails con otra clase para permitir que mis alumnos se conozcan y puedan expresarse en español con hispanofonos que aprenden el francés. Podria ser un intercambio en los dos idiomas español/francés . El año escolar empieza para nosotros el 16 de agosto y termina en junio (con un mes de vacaciones en Navidad)

my name is Emmanuelle Klima, I live in NUku HIva, Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. NExt term I'll teach in a class with 22 students aged around 8 years old. We are going to work on a project to come to New Zealand in April 2014, we need 2 years to get enough money to come there. We'd like to find a class to talk with and meet when we'll be in NZ. It will be easier for us to stay in Auckland, but we're open to any other proposition. We'd love to share with a class that speak Maori, so we could work on the similarities and differences between maori and marquesian language.
OUr class year beggins in august (the 20th) 2012 and the end by the end of june 2013. Then we'll be back in august 2013 and would love to come and meet you in april 2014!!!!

I teach English at St Joseph's Technical Institute in Tahiti. We are planning to take 14 students aged 18 to 20 (4 of them come from the Marquesas Islands and the others from Tahiti, to visit Auckland in February 2011.
The aim of our trip is twofold: 1) Discover the sheepmeat (or redmeat ) trail from the farm to the plates. (Our students are taking a diploma in deli meat cooking and preparation).2) Establish youth contacts by mail first and then real contacts in New Zealand if possible when we come in February. We'll be staying in Otara (Whaiora Marae).

je suis en pleine préparation d'un examen et le sujet traité est l'enseignement de l'anglais au cycle 3. Je compte dès la rentrée d'août 2010 commencer une correspondance avec une classe de nouvelle-Zélande (en anglais)pour montrer l'importance de la communicaation dans l'apprentissage d'une langue.
J'aurais à ma charge des enfants de CM1/CM2 (un peu moins de 30) c'est à dire 8/9ans.
