Je suis professeur d'anglais au Lycée français de Luxembourg. C'est une école francophone avec des élèves qui ont plutôt un bon niveau en langues. J'ai vécu moi-même un an en Irlande pendant mes études et souhaiterais trouver une école partenaire afin de mettre en place un échange pour ma classe de 4èmes. I am an English teacher in a French Catholic Lycée in a small village in the North of France. My students are in "seconde" but they are quite young and could correspond to the age group of your pupils. My students belong to a "European section" and study Biology in English, we are a team of three motivated teachers and have already had an experience of a successful partnership.My pupils are really eager to improve their English. My pupils will be between 13 and 15 years of age in 2009/2010...and they'd be over the moon to come to Ireland...We'd love to have Irish hosts too...I don't know why it's so hard to find teachers eager to organize school trips as it's the most exciting part of our job!...I'm highly motivated as I'm planning to come to Dublin in 2010 with my pupils whether I manage to find an Irish school ready to have some fun with us and to be our hosts in return, or I have to content myself with an ordinary school trip with visits and so on ... My students will be 14-15 years old in September, in 5th grade in a high school situated 3 km away from Rennes the capital of Brittany. That would be great if we could make our students travel and discover a different country. I've already participated in an exchange with the USA but the American teacher can only come in France every 3 years. I have also been responsible for an exchange in Cork 4 years ago but I have changed schools since. We are a co-educational school, the students have been learning English for 4 years and our school was built 2 years ago, it is a very modern building with excellent educational facilities. Moreover, there are plenty of places worth visiting for your students in the area. I really hope we can make it work. Best regards. Caroline
