Hi there, I'm a native German speaker who is teaching German to a small island primary school once a week. The ages range from 4 to 11 years old and there are 9 children at our base. The children absolutely love their German lessons and some of them are progressing very fast. I'd love to set up a penpal friend for each of the children- ideally in similar ages (the younger two children would mostly be drawing pictures with some German words here or there. The older ones would be writing short sentences). Up to you whether you'd like your children to respond in German or English. We live on the small island of St Martin's on the Isles of Scilly- perhaps something that your kids might find interesting? :-) Many thanks Claudia |
