12688 - from Cheryl (USA) - 2013-03-26 Hippopotamus : "Where Is Splash" On Christmas Day 1988 Julie the Memphis Zoo hippo gave birth to rare twin hippos (a boy and a girl), named Splish and Splash. About 10 days ago Julie was euthanized due to poor health. She was 51 She leaves behind and adoring public, and 10 "children". In 1990 the male twin "Splash" was sent to a zoo in Florida. Julie's passing got me to wondering which zoo in Flordia that Splash is in. In deed even if he is still in that zoo. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

28413 - Reply from Brenden foster (ALA) - 2015-06-06 The zoo splash was sent to actually foreclosed and they did not keep very good records and no body really knows where splash was sent to, but speculation is a zoo in Europe. I hope this helps.
