: "Cultural Exchange"

I have a small group of middle school students (aged 12-14) who meet on Fridays for 90 minutes in the morning. I would like them to 'meet' other students online from other countries so that they can learn more about other cultures. Anywhere welcome.

Hi

I'm an English teacher in a middle school in a beautiful old city of Szczecin, Poland. We are working on a project "We don't need no education" with my students in which we try to compare different systems of education and the ways different subjects are taught in various countries. So far we've been working with some European countries and the USA but WHY NOT AUSTRALIA??? My students would love to contact students from such a distant and different country. Yours will be quite shocked too - sure of it.

Would you be interested in entering the cooperation?

I teach in a private school in New York, and our middle school students would love to meet your students via Skype.
Best regards,

Dear Mrs Paulene,

My school welcomes about 110 (fe)male students from 11 to 15 years-old.
I am the only English teacher at school and I would like to develop exchanges with Australian, Irish, Canadian and English Junior High schools.
If Your students are interested in knowing more about other (French) cultures, please let me know. How about starting (e-mail) pen-pal exchange between students and perhaps skype contacts?
FYI, I will fly to Sydney in February (vacation).
Looking forward to reading You soon, I wish You a Merry Xtmas and a Happy New Year.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
What kind of cultural activities are you thinking of? My students are all girls. I can get them to write you an email for your students if you like, to introduce themselves.
Do you have skype?
Thanks
Paulene
