42046 - from Melissa (Australia) - 2011-10-27 : "Younger children very keen to discover the world!!" Hi, I care for approx 28 children in a child care centre / kindergarten. They are aged between 3 and 5 years old and are interested to learn of other cultures, lifestyles, heritage etc. from all over the world. We would prefer snail mail as the children have expressed they would like to post, in the post box, some drawings, postcards and photos. However I am also interested in anyone who would prefer emails instead. The children are really eager to participate, so if your group of children, or even just a few can think they would like to learn and communicate to children from Australia, please contact me. 99454 - Reply from Cindy (USA) - 2014-08-02 Hello! I am teaching my four year old son how to read and write. He has picked up quite a bit in the past four months. However, we have hit a wall. He is very bright and seems bored with the repetition of it all. I think having a penpal would encourage my son to continue to learn and practice his skills. We live in California USA. We do a lot of fun things as a family and Im sure he would like to share those experiences. His favorite topic is Star Wars so if you happen to have a student that is interested in Star Wars that would be amazing. I don't know if you have found a penpal school or not. I figured you might not have found enough students of the same age to penpal with so if that is the case... My son can be one more penpal.
