: "Australian students looking for online communicaion with students from O/Seas"

Hi,
I have a couple of grade 5 (9/10 year old) classes that are learning about weather and climate around the world and we are hoping to find some other similar aged students/classes who would be interested in online correspondence to discuss these topics with. Please let me know if you are able to help.

Thanks

Wow! I teach a grade 5 class in Saskatchewan, Canada. We too study weather and would enjoy sharing our story with another class from Australia. My school year begins Sept. 1st until the end of June. Take care, Jim

I am Marieli, I am Brazilian and I teach English for children in a primary school in Salvador, Bahia in Brazil. I'll have about 40 students in 2010 that are 8 - 10 years old. They are beginners.
I have a project of interchanging cultural information by snail mail and I hope that we can work together.
What do you think? Is it interesting for you and for your students?
Let me know.
I'm anxiously waiting for your answer.
My e-mail is t.marieli@hotmail.com

Hi
We are a 4th (9 and 10 year olds) grade in metropolitian Detroit area in Michigan in the USA. I have 24 students. Recently I read a book to them about koalas and Australia. I discovered that many of them weren't familiar with Australia. So I figured that they could learn firsthand through penpals. Let me know if we can be your pwnpals!! Email me as soon as you can.

Hello,

I am giving private English lessons in Istanbul. One of my students, a nine year old girl, would like to practice reading/writing English (she has been learning English from the age of 4 and is very clever, so it should work). To start with a topic is a good idea, as this topic is part of our curriculum. Would it be possible to find a penpal among your students, who would be interested in continuing this in general? If so, I would appreciate your help a lot (next lesson would be on Sunday:)

Kind regards
Sandra

Hello Bevan,

I am looking for penpals for my students. I have a Grade 5 class (ages 9-10), that would love to correspond with your students!! Are you still interested?
