High school : "Looking for Penpals from across the world."

I teach history and geography to students in Year 7 (aged 12 - 13) and would like a class from anywhere in the world to exchange ideas and information with. Unfortunately, my students only speak English, so we will need a class that can also speak English. I would like to exchange information about different cultures etc. Please contact me if you are interested or might know someone who is. Cheers, Katie

I am a 7th grade social studies teacher. One of my classes is interested in establishing a pen pal community with international students. There are 27 children in the class. We are only able to communicate via "snail mail". If we could work with your group, please let me know. Many thanks!

Hello, I'm an English teacher working in the North-East of France and I'm in charge of 4 classes: pupils from 9 to 14/15 and we would be really happy to exchange mails or letters with your pupils. I'm ready to work on school projects and we've already worked on Australia last year and it would be really interesting to exchange with Australian.
I think it would help all the pupils to get to know more about culture, traditions and the country.
I hope you will answer to this message,
thanks,
Jalila

dear sir or Madam,

I' m an English teacher in New-Caledonia and I would like my students to focus on Australia .
In fact, I may need 140 - 150 approx pen-friends( letters or e-mails) to match with my 4-6 classes aged 12 to 16.
All a teacher would have to do is send me a list containing :surnames names ages and classes and of course the school address( postal and web).
The caledonian teenagers would communicate in English and expect their fellow students to choose the language they prefer (French or English).
It shouldn' t take too much time or energy (from the students and the teacher) because most of the issues and topics debated would be studied in class here in New-Caledonia (identity, family, likes/ dislikes ,place, history and geography..) so that the kids in New Zealand would just have to answer in their native language if too tricky.

I Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully

Hi Katie!
I teach English in a lower secondary chool in France, in a big village near Strasbourg. Being on the border with Germany makes it a very interesting area, with a complex history and culture. I guess you could say a lot of around here feel European first, then Alsatian, and only then French !
I have a big group of third years who would love to correspond in English with your pupils and exchange all sorts of informations.
If you're still interested, contact me back!
