Boulanger, Patissier : "cream cheese kolacky cookies"

prep time:15 minutes ready in: 3 hours 25minutes
cook time : 10minutes servings: 50

The dough tor these cookies is what them exceptional.you can use peach, apricot,stawberry and any type of filling you like.

ingredients:
5 ounces cream cheese softened
3/4cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon butter or all vegetable shorting,
1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon any flavor fruit jam
1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon confectioner 's sugar for decoration


directions :
1. mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. add flour slowly until well blended. shape into a ball and chill overnight or for several.

2. preheat oven to 350 degrees f (180 degrees c). roll dough 1/8 inch thick on a flourer pastry board. cut into 2 1/2 inch squares and place 1/2 (approx) of jam or preserves. overlap opposite corners and pinch together. place on ungreased cookies sheet.

3. bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheat oven. cool. sprinkle lightly with confectionter's sugar.

4. then eat very good!!!!!!:) i love them!
