I'd like to start a writing project with my 4ème students (approximately Year 8, 13-14 years old) in English as a second language. First we'd work in our own class on a short murder story and then our students would write their own story : 1) my pupils could write the beginning of a story (crime scene) 2) then your pupils would read our text and they would continue (introduce the detective and the suspects) 3) My pupils would read your bit of the story and go on (alibis) 4) Your pupils would read and develop the end of the story (solving of the crime) Or the other way round!
