A shark can only drown if the shark does not move it"s tail fin at all.

They do not have an air bladder so they sink. They have to move so the oxygen in the water goes through their gills so they swim while sleeping.

I dont Know about Sharks but with Dolphins they van shut down half their brain so they are sleeping but still moving, but hey, who knows maybe they dont slepp :)

I think they die if they stop swimming. Scientists do not know how they sleep.
