straight in to the subject, especially in my country, the rate of democrasy is lower than what it is shown in documents and statistics. these authorities raise their control over people, significantly in the last half century. i got sumthin to say bouth ts. the last year, there have been some protests made by leftist people (especially college students) which i supported, rightfully, against the authoritaian (and lowkey fachist) government, and it happened mostly in the cities on the western side of our nation. it looked (and was) like the Gezi parkı protests happened in 2013. police, which were (again rightfully) made fun of sprayed tons of compressed water and pepper spray on students, shot them with plastic bullets and his them with trancheons and batons, most being children. that, from my perspective, shows how selfish the government and our president erdogan is. they will probably drag millions to death just to save a few more years of presidency. |
