131955 - de Alexandra (Hongrie) - 2024-10-01 : "ESL Teacher in Hungary looking for Class Pen Pal partners" Hello! I am an ESL teacher in Hungary. I am looking for another teacher to pair up our classes for a pen pal project. Ideally, I'd like to write 2-4 times throughout the school year. I am primarily looking for US classes and UK classes. I have three UK Civ classes. Two fifth with 36 students. Then one seventh with 19. I would like to pair them with UK/Ireland classes. Then I have three US Civ courses. Two eighth grade with a total of 23 students and then one sixth with 13 students! Besides my civilization courses, I have four speaking-specialization classes. One eighth with 20 students, two ninth with 35, and then one tenth with 18! They are kind, bright, and curious students. Please reach out and we can make a plan.

131959 - Réponse de Briana (USA) - 2024-10-02 Good morning! I am a Reading teacher in Florida in the United States. I have 5 classes of 8th grade students aged 13 and 14. We are reading a novel this year about penpals called I Will Always Write Back and I wanted to have them write to penpals from another country to more fully understand the significance of the novel. The novel is about a girl from Pennsylvania and a boy from Zimbabwe, Africa and their 10+ year friendship that started through a penpal program in school. My students are very eager to learn about other students from different countries and we would love to set up a letter exchange with your classes.
