I am hoping to find another teacher who would like to partner up to start a pen pal program. My students are aged 8-9. I am hoping that they will learn writing and communication skills. We would need an English-speaking class or one who is learning English.

I have 11 students, but there are also another 12 in a different 4th grade class who could join if those numbers would work better. Most of my students are Vietnamese, with a few other nationalities mixed in as well. Some are native (or near native) English speakers while others are at a lower level. I am also looking for a class to do a pen pal program with so my kids can practice their English writing skills. I have 14 third graders, 8-9 years old. Do you want to collaborate? Maybe we can also have the kids make school tour videos for each other or something, since the time zones probably won't work to do a live video chat. Email me if you are interested! I have a class of 5th graders (16) that would benefit a lot from communicating with other students in English. Their proficiency is probably around grade 2 on average, but their interests are typical for 5th grade. They could learn a lot by speaking with students from another culture!

We children speak several languages, such as English. If possible, I would like to set up a correspondence project between our two schools. The idea is to allow them to speak the English language, but also to allow them to discover different cultures/customs. Are you interested in our project? Thank you =)
