130940 - de Marie (USA) - 2023-07-13 : "Pen Pals from sunny Los Angeles!" Good morning! I am interested in starting a pen pal friendship with an international school. I have done this project for 15 years now, and we have had pen pals from all over the world. We send written letters and learn about new friends as well as new cultures. We usually send about 3-4 letters back and forth throughout the year, and it is always an experience that the students never forget. We have two classes of grade 5 (age 10-11). Each class has about 23 students - roughly 46-48 total. Thank you! :)

I'm looking for penpals for my students aged 10 to 12 (20-30 students per group) to practise letter writing and hone their English language skills. They are eager to learn about the way of life and culture of another country. We would be delighted to exchange emails, letters, videos, and artwork! Our school is located in the state of Selangor, which is not far from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital city (approximately 20 minutes). Any interested schools/teachers are welcome for collaboration.
