130723 - de Sysser Bjørnstrup (Danemark) - 2023-02-03 Coll�ge : "We are looking for pen-pals" Hello, I teach English as a second language in Denmark. My 24 students are 11-years-old. Our mother tongue is Danish, but my students can communicate in written English at a fair level. I work on developing their intercultural competences and global awareness and I would love, if I could find pen pals to them all. Preferably pen pals at the same age from English speaking countries. My students could share knowledge about Danish culture, everyday life and/or history, for example. Could it be you and your students? Or do you know anybody who could be interested. I teach a World Cultures class in Wisconsin and my students are 12-13 years old. We are looking for pen-pals in another part of the world that we can correspond with and learn about the way of life in another place. My students have so many questions about schools in Europe! They want to know if they wear uniforms, if they have the entire summer off, what TV shows are popular there, etc. If you would be interested in writing to our class, please let me know!
