I am an English teacher from Greece and I would like to have three of my classes -with students aged 10, 12 and 14 years old in each one of them- correspond with students from other countries, in English. There are about 10 students in each class. I would love to give them the opportunity not only to practise the language but also to expand their knowledge of other cultures around the world, so let me know if you're interested. We would like to send real letters on paper via the post office if possible. I think there is much to learn from this process. 130683 - Réponse de Lisa (USA) - 2023-01-02 I'm writing a grant to travel to Greece and Germany this summer with our art teacher to explore the cultural and historical influences in Europe that inspired two pieces of literature that we study with our 4th graders: The Whipping Boy and The Lightning Thief. We'd love to schedule a visit to a school in Greece while we are traveling there in early June if we receive this grant. Then we could possibly next year set up a pen pals exchange between students at our schools. Would you be interested in collaborating with us?
