130453 - de Drew (Italie) - 2022-09-30 Coll�ge : "CALLING TEACHERS IN THE EU – EXCHANGE E-GREETINGS" Dear teachers in the European Union, greetings from Italy. I teach geography to 12/13 year olds. This year we have to deal with the European Union and its member states, in order to discover our beautiful motto: United in diversity. I ask for your help: I would like to find a middle school class from each of the other member states (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden) to exchange mutual information about our countries. Each class could send a characteristic photo of their country/city together with curiosities about it, in its mother tongue and in English (and / or Italian, if you study it). These e-mails will be useful as a starting point to introduce EU in our lessons. This could happen on the occasion of the Electronic Greeting Card Day (November 17th). So I ask you only for a photo and a few lines of presentation from your country/city and your school. Who is interested and wants to take part in this e-exchange of European greetings?
