But just in case, here is my project : nothing time consuming, just one or two e-mails for my 6th graders (beginners in English then) with English as a communication language. My pupils are only able to introduce themselves briefly and say what they like, dislike (food, animals, activities), and sports and activities they  can do. Soon, they'll be able to talk about their daily routine and describe their town. So, just a few e-mails... If you're interested, please get in touch!
