I am a middle school teacher in a very small rural school in Washington state. My students are predominately Caucasian, and because of the remoteness of our school they are not often exposed to other cultures/lifestyles/ideas. I am looking for another middle school teacher who would like to start a pen pal activity for the remainder of the school year. I have 10 students in my class this quarter. I will have 12 next quarter - and a similar amount the following quarters. If you are interested, please let me know. I am trying to educate my kids on letter writing skills and introduce them to other students from different ideologies within the United States. |
