117938 - de Isabel (Espagne) - 2017-09-03 Ecole Primaire : "penfriends for my young students English and maybe French!" Hello everyone ! I am a Foreign Language teacher (English and French) in a Primary School, in Segovia, near the capital Madrid. I am searching for teachers/students who would be interested in exchanging letters with my young students (Primary 2 ). I established a contact for penpalling last year with my older students and it was great. This year I am teaching the younger ones, they are 7 years old but i am determined to ask them to write a few words in English/French. If you are interested and yours are also young, we can ask them to write in their own language at first and then some words in the target language. I can teach them some words in French if yours are from a francophone country. I hope to be lucky this year and i am looking forward to hearing from any teacher in the same situation and interested in this school/class partnership. Thank you .

I have a class of 30 children who started learning Spanish in September. They love Spanish and would absolutely love to exchange letters with Spanish children. 118218 - Réponse de Florent (France) - 2017-09-11 Hello I've just read your message and I must say that I found it quite interesting. At first I was looking for english penpals for my 24 french pupils. The purpose was to communicate in both french and english, about everyday life or any theme one want to deal with. That's basically what you propose, so I said to myself "why not"! We are living in a 1800 people village, that is 15 minutes far away from the swiss border. My 8 years old kids are really nice and would be fur sure motivated to have spanish penfriends. Well please answer if you see any interest in my proposition. Hope to hear from you. Florent
