106573 - de Ania (Pologne) - 2015-08-14 Ecole Primaire : "Penpals for the youngest pupils (age 6-7)" Hello dear teachers and parents, I'm looking for a class of about 25 pupils aged 6-7, that's the first grade. I would like to run a kind of a pen-pal club, where the kids would write small letters to their peers from around the world and at the same time develop their little English and learn about new cultures. We could exchange some postcards, drawings, pictures, power point presentations about our countries etc, anything to form the friendship and motivate the kids to learn English. 106678 - Réponse de Vanessa (France) - 2015-08-18 Hello Ania, I'm a french teacher in a primary school in France, in the Alps. I teach in a class of 20 pupils aged 5 to 7 years old. The 5 years old don't learn english yet but the 14 pupils of 6 and 7 start to learn english. We also search to correspond with a other class in the world, in french or in english. Do you think it will be possible to correspond (mail or postal) or do you need 25 children to correspond with yours ? Waiting for your answer, Vanessa.
