sorry to all u wonderful canoeing people out there, but i tried canoeing when i was younger, i use to go tandem with my mum,but the wind always caught one end and spun us round. anyway, my mum got arthritis and couldn't come with me any more, and i dint like it with out her, so i gave up.
Then just before I moved house, i found this club that ran out of the loch down the road from me and in the winter, they had pool sessions once a week at the local pool. i went along one night, and i tried it and i have never looked back. i went down a river for the first time a couple if months ago, and now i am learning how to roll.
when i am older i hope to go to Canada and paddle in one of the many lakes and mabt go down a river.
