Lucia, Mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean, sets out to land to find the boy she saved from a shipwreck seven years before the beginning of the story. the boy to whom she entrusted her pink pearl. She eventually found the boy: a surfer named Kaito.

At the same time, Lucia has been told that a group of disguised monsters have invaded the marine world and she must gather the six other Mermaid Princesses and their pearls to bring back the legendary goddess Aqua Regina to stop them. To fulfill this, she joins forces with Hanon and Rina, Mermaid Princesses who came up to dry land, use their pearls, turn into singing idols, and use their voices as an offensive force.

Lucia's "boyfriend".
He discovered Lucia was a mermaid in Pichi Pichi Pitch and
knew about it in Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure.
Kaito is a very powerful prince who's powers could actually rival the mermaid princesses power.

He is Hanon's music teacher. When he was in India, he fell in love with Sara.

He likes Yuri, and he can be a penguin, a Hippocampus (a flying horse with a fish tail), and a cute blonde boy.

He is the bad guy and Kaito's older identical brother. He is also leader of the dark lovers. In the manga, his name is Gakuto.

The Dark Lovers are disguised monsters.

The New Mermaid Princess of the Indian Ocean

She was about to be born till Mikeru took his chance and absorbed her heart.

Nagisa is a young boy who has a crush on Hanon. After retrieving some sheet music for Hanon, he has been wooing her ever since. Unfortunately for him, the sheet music is of the tune Taro Mitsuki dedicated to Hanon, which only reminds her of her fixation on the much more refined and older man. Still, his resilience is to be admired, and she eventually treats him better. In the manga, he says that he is two years younger than Hanon. In the end, Hanon falls in love with Nagisa.

Masahiro is a flirtatious boy who has a crush on Rina. He wears glasses, rides a motorcycle and does some amateur boxing. It is later revealed that he comes from a family running a boxing gym. At the end of the manga, Masahiro is Rina's boyfriend.

Mikeru is an angel,the boss of the bad guys in Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure.
Though he can resist any song the mermaid princesses sing, he is cursed with a weak body.
In order to survive, he stole both Kaito's memories and the heart of Seira, a mermaid princess.

Mikaru is Kaito's new boyfriend after Mikeru stole Kaito's memories about Lucia, Hanon, and Rina.

Lady Bat is one of the bad guys, Mikeru's bat like servant. In the manga, Lady Bat is a boy.

Ranfa is one of the bad guys, Mikeru's butterfly like servant.

Alala is one of the bad guys, Mikeru's fairy like servant.
