Edward took piano lessons many years and won several contests when he was a child, though he never learned how to read music. He was playing by ear.

Edward moved in the USA when he was 7 years old, before, he was living in Netherlands.

When Edward moved in America, he could speak English. He knew only four words (YES, NO, MOTORCYCLE, ACCIDENT).
At school, he was bullied because he didn't speak English.

Ed is very shy. Music is for him, a way of getting around his shyness.
