1) Adjektive (Adjectives)
The form of the adjective depends on the noun it belongs to.
Singular and definite article:
basic form + -e
e.g.: der schöne Morgen - the beautiful morning
Singular and indefinite article:
basic form + -er (male) / -e (female) / -es (neuter)
e.g.: ein schöner Morgen, eine schöne Sonne, ein schönes Auto
Plural and definite article:
basic form + -en
e.g.: die schönen Sprachen
Plural without article:
basic form + -e
e.g.: schöne Sprachen - beautiful languages
