THE GREEN TURTLE
is a Reptile found throughout the warmer oceans and the Mediterranean. Green Turtles can have a length of 5ft and weigh up to 400 lbs. Green Turtles are among some of the largest of turtles. The males are slightly larger than females and have slightly larger tails. They have flippers that resemble paddles that make them very graceful swimmers. They feed on sea grasses,algae,crabs,jellyfish,and sponges.

Unlike most other turtles, the Green Turtle cannot pull its head back into its shell.
