Perry (the United States) - 29/05/2004 : The USA is the best country ever. No other country can top us. We are the biggest superpower. And you all hate us cause we are better. The only country that i consider an ally, is Britian. You British people are cool.
otman (morocco) - 01/06/2004 : USA, a large history, I love USA for what Americans want it to be, and I know they do a lot to make this country stronger... However, a few of them try to do that in spite of all the pain they will make to the others... It would be a pity, a country in a auto-distruction process, because of few crazy men... America is not what the world is looking at now, America is much better than that...

anagha (india) - 04/06/2004 : USA............ it is heaven on earth.A beautiful place with beautiful people. It is truly captivating.though politically unstable it is culturally very powerful
Antoine (CANADA, QUEBEC) - 11/06/2004 : I agree that USA is a nice, a great and a rich country, but, there is an attitude that I really don t like from some americains that they not respect others countries because they think that they are the best in the world. Do they known that there strengh ( the power of USA ) is from peoples comes from all around the worid. I have read a message from a guy from USA, he wrote that my country is boring and he wrote that canadians are jaleous as well. This is REALLY NOT respecfull for Canadians. THIS is the kind of attitude that piss me off. I can say a lot of bad things on USA me too. BUT, I have so much respect that I will not do the same thing than this ' esti de colon '. VIVE LE CANADA, VIVE LE QUEBEC ! VIVE L HUMANITE TOUTE UNIE SANS DES COLONS QUI SE SUR-ESTIMENT ! MERCI, thank you, gracias, terima kasi, donke shon, se se...
Mike (USA) - 18/06/2004 : Antoine, pay no attention to them. I along with many other Americans get fed up with all this arrogance also.
Ally (USA) - 28/06/2004 : I love the USA. I am proud to be an American.
sharm (france) - 01/07/2004 : New york est la ville la plus attrayante et la plus fun, les gens sont open et arrêtez de croire que le gouvernement représente la population du pays!!!!!!!!!
Braena (USA) - 14/07/2004 : I used to be really pround of the US. George Bush changed all that, he had NO right to go into Iraq.
DEE (U.S.A.) - 15/07/2004 : AMERICA IS THE BEST GEORGE BUSH THE VERY BEST I'LL VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN--- WHO CARES WHAT YOU PEOPLE FROM FRANCE THINK
Jé (Canada) - 15/07/2004 : I beleive that USA is a... great country ! But some Americans use to beleive they are the best, something they are not. Be proud of your country but don't spit on other countries (like USA did on France because they don't think the same way) Anyway, I love USA and I continue to beleive that it's ONE of the wonderful countries in the world !
TJ (USA) - 15/07/2004 : USA is a pretty cool place.I like Miami because i live there.GO MIAMI HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
michel (canada) - 17/07/2004 : johnny (canada) - 17/07/2004 : sorry for america this great country with a morron rednick as president, i just wonder if american people know what the word peace means. And before qualifing people terrorists ask your self why there're doing that. may be it's because usa invades their country, you know what , we should call that people resistants not terrorists and remenber that george washinton was considered as a terrorist by the british government sic!!!!
Rafik ((USA Algeria)) - 18/07/2004 : Hey guys, I have a chance to Live in the USA, and i think it is a wonderful country. I think that people all over the world should make a difference between Americans and the american foreign policy. I met great people and still meeting many more. Rafik
michel (canada) - 19/07/2004 : hi rafik. yeah it's true that american people are very nice but who governe usa ???? isn't that american people who choose their president ????
Braena (USA) - 27/07/2004 : Actually Bush kinda stole the votes. Just becuase that president had enough votes in the Electoral College doesnt mean the American people wanted him. You'll find a lot of Americans that agree with Bush's foreign policies, but many more stronly disagree. I guess the only conclusion is that america is a very divided country. But I wish people wouldnt judge the american people becuase of the stupid things bush does.
Ai Kai (Samoa) - 30/07/2004 : America is full of other countries rejects, thats why they need so many psychiatrists, have the most killers and hate the rest of the world ... its a sick society run by an even sicker President ... In God We Trust ... yeah right ... who in their right mind would trust a Yank to tell the truth
Nouri (Tunisia) - 07/08/2004 : L'ABUS de la Jouissance de la Puissance Ruinera cette dernière

Ai Kai (Anywhere but USOFA) - 31/08/2004 : Every one is equal ... bollocks ... only if you are a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant) ... they are still the most racist arrogant aggresive country in the world ... why don't they help the Sudanese ... Ah. of course ... no oil, no WMDs
fati boutabssil (maroc) - 01/09/2004 : hello i like usa ,thank you
mohammed (morocco) - 01/09/2004 : USA without politics is a grate nation

Michelle (U.S.A.)
Ai Kai (Anywhere but USofA) - 01/10/2004 : Do you know what the cockney rhyming slang if for Americans ... SEPTICS ... septic tanks / yanks ... sums them up nicely ... full of sh!t ... if they don't like your politics / religion / colour, then they will try to change you and make you 'american' ... fark off ... get a life ... look at all the countries they have tried to destabilise / conquer and have failed ... Iraq, Afghanistan, Viet Nam, Somalia, Panama ... hmm ... they did beat Grenada ... just shows that even with all their military might, the individual cannot be overcome
Melissa (U.S.A) - 01/10/2004 : Hi! I just wanted to say I live in Arizona and its more than just rocks, and cliffs like in the pictures. We have mountains with pine trees and snow in the north, and lakes and cities and farms, and anyway, I love Arizona! ( except in the summer, soooo hot!!!)
Melissa (U.S.A) - 01/10/2004 : Hi, I already posted a message but I'm posting another one for all u retards who don't like america. First of all, I don't go around insulting ur country and second I'm sure ur leaders have done some stupid things too. Don't judge everyone in one country based on what their leaders do/ have done. Second, for whoever thinks we're racist, duh, so are people everywhere, but that doesn't mean everyone in the U.S. is. I'm part indian, and white, and everything else, but no one looks down on me for any of it. And finally, have u ever been here, because I don't think u should talk about something you don't even know about. Anyway, that's all. Sorry to all the people that are nice, and had to read this! I love my country and i know its not perfect and I respect the other countries and religions and peoples of this world. bye!

Lindsay (USA) - 11/10/2004 : Taylor is so right about Kerry. He's a wimp and he'll just make our country weak by joining other alliances. Uh wait....., what alliances? Like any other country will join us in war. The only way our country will stand strong is to keep a totally great pres. (and of course only Bush could have a label like that. Jessica (USA) - 29/10/2004 : hey im from new york city and i have to say new york city is the only place in the whole country that actually has cultural diversity. There's racism and sterotypes and a growing unemployment rate. Americans don't realize how bad it is. I hate living here because I constantly live in fear. So to all the other Americans who said,'America is great' don't, because you make yourself and all Americans look stupid. There's no perfect country so get over yourselves.

Larry(Rachel) (usa) - 24/12/2004 : I live in this wonderfull country(usa)and it ROCKS(of course)
Stephanie (USA) - 30/12/2004 : I love every country in the world, and I especially love the USA(partially because I live there) I do not like that there is such a stereotype of my country, though. I know that some people in my country can be arrogant and disrespectful of other countries, but not everyone is like that! I certainly am not like that. I went to France recently with my orchestra, and the people there called me a 'stupid American' and some even shouted curses at me. That made me very very sad, for I would never do that to any French people in the US that visited to play music. I just wish the people of the world would be more accepting of other cultures. And please stop looking at the entire people of the US as arrogant, stupid people. We are not all like that!
khalik pashton (Afghanistan) - 31/12/2004 : I love every where in the world specially USA, The american people are soo nice unbeleivable.they are soo kind.We say most wel come to american to travel to Afghanistan specially kandahar city.our special friend american troops are here with us in kandahar, they are soo helpfull and very good people,so please travel to our city kandahar afghanistan we will help you all to show landscapes and cultural area and nice food cheaper then every where else in the world.bye bye khalik pashton kandahar Afghanistan

Georgie (uSa) - 05/02/2005 : USA ROCKS MY SOCKS!!! i love america... it is the best place ever! so many different places to visit, so many things to see, so many new people to meet... its GREAT!!!! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!
Stu (USA) - 14/02/2005 : USA is a great place, I'm from sweet home Alabama and I love it here. If you want to be immersed in some deep fried culture visit the deep south sometime, you'll have fun. Roll Tide!
Moon (America) - 18/02/2005 : How could you not like America? America is made up of all different countries. America is a wonderful country. I'm pround to be American. I love my country, and I love Americans.
Seb (Europe) - 18/02/2005 : Dans les records, vous pouvez ajouter que les Etats-Unis est le pays le plus pollueur au monde.
Vampire (USA) - 18/02/2005 : Ai Kai, i Really don't like what you said. It' true that America has a lot of killing. But it's also true that Americans has the most mental problems, some people can't help it. Don't talk about things that you don't understand. America is a great country, I can easily say that Americans are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Also not ALL Americans voted for Bush, I for one didn't. (actually I can't voted, but if i could I wouldn't.) America is made up of coutries from all around the world. It's the melting pot. I am pround to say that I am an American. Don't put my country down.
Moon (America) - 18/02/2005 : I don't get you. Ai Kai you complain because you say that Americans are making this world worse. That Americans are the haters here, but uh, hello? Whose the hater now? It's okay for you to say bad things about America but when we say bad things about other countries that's not ok? Is that what your saying? You can not say that America is bad. You can't say iraq is bad. You can't say france is bad. No one type of people is bad. But there are people who are bad. I think we forgot that just because we may not like a person who is....say french ( i love the french, just using them as an example) doesn't mean we have to hate the whole country. When people say things about America it hurts me. I'm so proud to be American. But I don't like it when other people say bad things about other countries. It's not right. Ai Kai think about what you say.
Lee (Usa) - 18/02/2005 : America is not one of the most Racist countries. That is so so so not true. You need to get your facts staight. I have more blacks at my school, and Indians. They are treated the same as everyone else. I am white but my friends are Mexican. AND for your information most of the west coast is 50% Mexican. Racist? No, I wouldn't say so. Get you facts straight before you diss us. I love America with all my heart. Feel free to email me as well!

Ralph (Hong Kong) - 03/05/2005 : hallo how r u im very good thank you
Mee (Sweden) - 23/05/2005 : Isn't it quite strange that it's mostly americans that are writing good things about their country here. That's so typicly american, 'we're always the best in everything'. Ok you do have a good counry but have you ever been to an other country? It's because of americans being like that I'm not sure if want to go there and be there for one year. I saw that a canadian wrote something like this too. Maybe I'll choose an other country lika Canada or Australia.
katie (america) - 24/05/2005 : Jhonny , you got it WRONG americans invaded britain so I my family and friends will have a good live.We are helping iraqis your're canadian you don't get it
Katie (usa) - 24/05/2005 : America is good Mee o.k a little picky we are rich and good

Amy (USA) - 28/05/2005 : Hi! My name is Kim nu ri nice to meet you ~
Richard (Australia) - 30/05/2005 : According to the Human Development Index (HDI), Norway, Sweden, Australia & Canada are the top four countries, the US comes eighth after Iceland. If the US was number one and consistantly number one then I could understand their arrogance (somewhat) but the US isn't. I've been to Canada and lived in the US. It has some great people and some beautiful country but, in general, americans know relatively nothing about the world outside of their borders which, combined with their arrogance, can really tick people off. Doctors advice to Americans - travel in pairs (no-one likes an invading force size tourist group from any country) to another country and don't talk much, just watch, listen and learn. The american way isn't always the best, try someting different!
Mee (Sweden) - 02/06/2005 : You see Katie that's just how you are and I dont know if I can handle that for a whole year, (but I probably will cause i'm so courious :P). Just see what Richard wrote. US are mostely not number one, actually the scandinavien countries, australia and canada are more developed and moderne than the US. And besides what you do in Iraq, you should just know what the rest of the worls thinks about it... And an other thing 56% of the americans dont have a passport :O Dont judge other countries before you've even been there :)

Steffi (USA) - 02/08/2005 : It's the stereotyping that gets to me. So many people hate my country, and because they hate my country, they hate me! I love every country out there, I can speak 5 different languages, i have traveled to many many different countries, and i love all the people there. i stereotype no one's country. but yet other countries hate me because they hate my country. yes, i know a lot of Americans are stuck up and intolerant of other cultures and do a lot of things that shouldn't be done, but not all of us are like that. I am not like that. I wish i wasn't hated for my nationality. but please, anyone out there who hates america, please don't hate me because i'm american. i would never do that to you. do svidania...
gehad (egypt) - 14/08/2005 : egypt says hi to america .........we all think america has great places as we do ..may be not ancient from thousands of years bu still.....good can be achieved anytime.....and every one thinks we all hate americans,we don't.., americans think that they r all hated becuz they r americans ,(not true),but us also, as an arabian ,i thought all americans hate us...but i got to understand somthing, the truth is not we hate each other 4 our relegion or nationality, the truth is ,we hate our politician, this is the truth ,as my openion,7 it makes alot of sense....i would like 2 gave a message.........we dun hate other realy, but it looks like we .this is what most of our arabic & islamic coutries think,& who ever hates the other 4 relegion or nationality is so damn wrong.....luv ya

Lacy (USA) - 27/08/2005 : The USA is a great country. It hurts me to read some of the things people say about us, when they have never been here and really experienced life in America. I am not saying America is perfect, or that our government is perfect. We definitely have issues and problems that we need to work out. But the truth is, we really aren't (for the most part) as hateful as people seem to think. We do genuinely care about other people and other countries. It hurts me because everyone only sees the bad things about America. They only care about our faults. The truth is, we thy so hard to help any country that needs our help. While our methods may not be perfect, our intentions are genuinely good. In response to what was said earlier about us not helping Sudan, that isn't true. We do help Sudan, we just do so through the UN, and not directly. We help everyone. The truth is, if America stopped sending foreign aid to other country's we could solve a lot of the poverty, homelessness, and hunger that Americans themselves have to battle everyday. But our government does its best to keep a balance, and help the other nations of the world. If we stop helping other countries, our schools could have everything they ever needed. There wouldn't be slums in America. There wouldn't be as many illegal immigrants here because we could afford to build up our security more. But we don't. We really aren't a selfish, hateful nation. Sure, our country may have selfish, hateful people, but those people aren't the majority. So, thank you to all of you who love America. Your encouraging words mean so much. And to those of you who do hate America, I beg that you take a look at some of the good things America does for the world instead of only focusing on our country's faults. If anyone wishes to talk to me, please feel free to email me at Geminichic_401@hotmail.com
Amber (USA) - 02/09/2005 : hey USA is great but I hate the WAR email me at sweetgurl_3900@hotmail.com
Kajsa (.) - 08/09/2005 : Lacy: you are right in many things you say :) but the fact about you sending a lot of aid and money to poor countries. you do do that, of course, but not as much as many other countries do. compare to your size and inhabitants you acctually don't give away a lot of money. I know, though, that the news i the us only shows you the good thins you do. I was really surprised when I turned on the news and well there weren't really news. it was only thing about the u.s, doing this, doing that. america is a huge country with lots of different people thinking different ways. I really don't hate america, but I can't say I love it either. but it really is an interesting country that I will travel to many times :)
Anja (Sweden) - 26/09/2005 : Kajsa, I really agree with you. (By the way are you from Scandinavia?) Lacy: Instead of 'helping' the iraq-people USA should help their own. I do not know how much the hurricane Rita will cost your country but Katrina costs just as much as 15 days in Iraq!! I know Iraq needs help but your presidents should take care of his own people. If you should see the european union as one big country like USA, Europe would pay much less money to poor countries (if Europe was one country.) And see it the other way: If the states in the U.S would become a lot of counries how much would USA give to Africa and Asia? Anyway, I like USA. You have so many big movie/music stars!! I love the show: Amish in the city!!/Anja
Elina (Not USA - I'm glad) - 26/09/2005 : hercule poirier (transilvanie), Nobody can love a country that make war and kill people. USA cant take care of their own - why does they 'help' other countries? OK - they did a good thing in Iraq. But why Afghanistan? I DONT GET THIS - CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLANE IT TO ME?
chris (Canada) - 27/09/2005 : ok guys i like america and all like its basicly the same as canada if you go to new york or something, but when people say its the best country in the world and brag, i get annoyed
Elina (Sweden) - 27/09/2005 : You are right, Chris. The americans brag to much, I don't like it.
Elina (Sweden) - 27/09/2005 : The americans does not know what their President/country has done. The americans are self-seekers! You are right, Michel from Canada.
Elina (Sweden) - 29/09/2005 : FRENGERS: Not Quite Friends, But Not Quite Strangers!
David (U.S.A.) - 01/10/2005 : I just want the French people who write here that I was in France earlyer this year of 2005 that I had the most wonderful time there and I only had one bad experience there not even worht mentioning. If there is a french lady that is available over there in her 35-45 that is singe please e-mail me. I would love to come back and experience the European and French life with a possible very serious relationship. Bon Journne. Monsignor David
David (U.S.A.) - 02/10/2005 : Elina from Sweden, I have a cousin in Sweden his name is Justa and I usualy like Sweden very much, but in your case you have no idea what you are talking about and I just want you to know that I think you are an Idiot especialy when Sweden give the Nobel Peace Prize to a murdering thief like Yasser Arafat, he is resposibal for several hijackings in the 1970s and manmy many bombings in which one of my best friends was killed in 1984. If this is what Sweden has come to with the rewarding of mudering terrorists then your country has turned into the biggest group of cowards the world has ever seen. My friends from Norway agree as well as my cousin Justa from Stockholm. He is so disapointed in the King and queen that he is ashamed to be Swedish. My great Grandmother would turn in her grave over there as well her name is Marta Johnsen, she grew up in Oland which is now owned by Finland and grew up in the summer home of Tzar Nicholas her photo is in the museum over there. She was tough not like those 'candy ass communists' you have over there now. The world had been fighting communism and socialism like Hitlers democratic socialist party as well as stalins communist party both of wich failed as wel as cost millions of peoples lives and that is where your ass kissing country is heading. So until Sweden gets off their cowardly butts and starts helping the world get rid of terrorist instead of rewarding them and criticizing the rest of the world that i s trying to kill theses idiots KEEP YOUR COWARDLY MOUTH SHUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elina (Sweden) - 03/10/2005 : david! It is NORWAY that give the Nobel Peace Price, NOT SWEDEN! Maybe Sweden (Norway) give rewards to terrorists, but we are not terrorists ourselfs anyway... How can Sweden help the world when USA destroy it all the time? Maybe the americans does not know what they are doing? Dont talk about Hitler and Sweden in the same context, Sweden was not a member in the worldwars. We helped the jewes, we took them to our country and gave them house and food. Dont talk about things as you dont know about!
Lizette (czech) - 04/10/2005 : Hi. Well, I live in Europe too and I do not know many people who likes Bush.
Elina (Sweden) - 05/10/2005 : David: Öland belongs to Sweden, Åland is a own country. It does not belong to anyone.
Anja (Sweden) - 07/10/2005 : Have a nice weekend everyone!!
Kajsa (Sweden) - 07/10/2005 : Hi! no fighting here, calm down :P I think many people in europe don't like the US because they try to rule the whole world. and while other countries want peace america keep starting new wars and can't keep out of things that is non of their buisness. and why can the US have nuclear weapon but no other countries are allowed to have it, because it's a threat to the US. that's strange I think. bye for now :)
G.I. Joe (U.S.A. in Iraq) - 09/10/2005 : Well I guess if you dont like the U.S. Then we should take away all the aid we give your little third world countries. Then let see you function as all the little communist dictators come out of the woodwork and slaughter all your people over there. I think Hitler had a good Idea kill the French and take their wine. Then Poland then Norway and good old Sweedensat their like little Cowards they always prove to be instead of helping, they would be easy to tak over since they are little people and afraid to fight for the rest of Europe. It took the Good old U.S.A. to save your asses again after the first world war. I love President Bush, he is not a coward. I am a U.S. Army Soldier and If any of you little peon Europeans say anything bad about him I kick their asses. All of the European soldiers here in Iraq with me think the same as I do, so at least some Europeans have some balls. Oh and by the way I have a lot of friends here that dont like the European presidents either, we dont like weak feable minded people pleasers that want to hug the f#$%'n terrorists, we want people with balls like Tony Blair that want to kill them. As for that Dave guy, your right these people should get off their lazy communist asses and get a job instead of living off the state and the people that work hard for their money. Little weasles that you are. your European countries are pathetic. You dont like President Bush, well let me tell you the U.S. Jobless rate is lower than when Clinton was in office and our economy is the fastest growing in the world. Good thing for you you pothetic weasals now your economies will grow too. You pieces of crap are a bunch of parasites. you feed off our country so shut your little communist mouths!!!!
david (usa) - 09/10/2005 : well elina and lizette you it goes to show you that we dont give a damn about your little weasly countries anyway. I have just made $4.2 million from my new company and the money came from your little weasly sweden. I love taking money from your little cowardly country. Now I am going to Iraq and use some of that money to help the Iraqi's and rebuild their country with your money!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! Now you cant say sweden didnt help with Iraq. And just to let you know I am going to make another $5.6 million from your little country and guess where it is going!!!! And now my company is going to buy oil from Iraq and we are shutting our company down in sweden and closing our offices there and 4 companies from sweden have to come here and do business with us which means we dont spend anymore money in sweden, just take it!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! I like this website now I can have my friends no longer deal with sweden now I know what they think of the U.S. Sweden may be educated, but God cursed them with no COMMON SENSE on how to use it. HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! Now You can say what your over drugged minds want to say.
Erin (U.S.A.) - 10/10/2005 : A lot of Americans don't agree with Bush or the war in Iraq so don't judge them all on that!
GI Joe (U.S.A.) - 10/10/2005 : Well erin you must be one of those jobless pot smokin hippies out protsting you support us troops. Your just a slckjawed faggot and i've kicked a lot of your coward asses. Do us troops favor keep your mouth shut until you come over here and see how happy these Iraqis are. I have Iraqis comming up top me thanking me every day and pissed off at you little weasles when their families were being slaughtered over here. F@#% the WMD's we saved these peoples asses over here from a big WMD named Sodamn Insane Oh sorry freudian slip saddam hussein. I have been digging fricken mass graves over here helping these people identify their family members and so far to date just my team we uncovered over 400,000 people. so dont give me your stupid uneducated derilect I dont agree with the war s@#$ until you come here and look yourself and turn that communist media crap off. To the Iraqi people President George W. Bush is a Hero and these people over here DO apreciate us and love us. Unlike little weasles like you who dont know their ass from a hole in the ground dont. So dont ever lie to us and say you support us unless you support our Commander In Chief as well. If I meet you in the street and you say that to me, my first question to you will be do you support George W. Bush and if you say NO I will smack you in the head like a BITCH. You dont support us if you want to cut our funding so we can get the job done. So go back and smoke your pot and stay in your own little drug induced world and leave the decisions to our Good President Bush. Oh by the way the rest of the world can kiss my ass if they dont support us. We are taking care of our country security first then we will worry about you. Only then can we take care of you after we take care of our security. Thats a Roger and Out
Anja (Sweden) - 10/10/2005 : Erin, we don't think all the americans are dumb-heads. Not at all!! But GI Joe is and David as well. David: It seams to me that you look at Europe as one country. We are not, definitly not. EVERY country exept USA hate war. GI Joe you talks about that big grave in Iraq. Why do you want to make it bigger. As long as USA is in Iraq the grave will become bigger and bigger! And by the way Sweden helps a lot of contries. I don't think countries with dictators and stuff like that is in a bigger need of help than many of the poor countries in Africa. Why don't you help them instead?
Elina (Sweden) - 10/10/2005 : David: You are so jealous of Europe that you have to complain. Why can't USA take care of their own people first, before they go to other countries. Do you know that 13% of the americans does not have enough for for the day? (They live like hobos). What do you want to do with them? Do you just want to spend money in other countries so you can be called heroes?
chris (canada) - 10/10/2005 : david, and G.i Joe, YOU ARE THE REASON I DON'T LIKE AMERICA, i mean listen to yourself brag i mean come on don't be so hard on them , 'oh who cares about europe we're the best' please stop it
Gi Joe (U.S.A.) - 10/10/2005 : That is how stupit you are anja, you would rather let the murdering terrorist go than extermiate them for the merdering bastards they are. Another 1.6 million would die and you would still let them go. You need to read your history, BONE HEAD!!! The same thing happened during world war II when Adolph was on the rampage taking over Europe. He had taken over several countries and was exterminating the jews by the millions and sweden still didnt even try to stop them. You say sweden took them in and helped them? You again need to look at your history, there was a long period of time when they were turning them back to Germany and Hitlers cronies were wacking them in the gas chambers and still sweden didnt believe it was going on. You peopleive in such denial that the U.S. has to keep cleaning up the mess just so you can live in your little safe dream world where nothing goes on but you little snow bird, vodka drinking orgies. And by the way dumb ass President Bush sent $15 billion in aid just for AIDS not to mention the other $50 billion in aid to many African Countries, that is 10 times the amount Bill Clinton sent who only sent $5 billion in 4 years. And sh@# head Elina our jobless rate in the U.S. is only 5%, unlike many european countries who have a jobless rate of 9-17% on a conservative estamate so I dont think that guy Dave is too jealous of your continent except for the Beauty of the history. But I'll tell you what you can criticise the U.S. all you want, I laugh everyday when so many of you little communists want to come over everyday and then you tell us how great your country is. Then why the hell dont you people quit comming over to our country if it so bad and yours is so great!!! Tell your family and friends to stay the hell out if you dont like us!!! My very words and you can quote me on this: F@#$ You!!! Well gotta go now gotta kill a few insergents today comming over the border of Syria so we can have FREEEEE ELECTIONS over here that the Iraqi's havedreamed of for so long and tell me everyday. Unlike what you hear every day on CNN (Communist Network News). Later!!!
Erin (USA) - 11/10/2005 : GI Joe I have talked to people living in Iraq and they say that although Suddam was very horrible the situation is much worse now because of the war. What you said to Anja was extemely rude. Don't call someone stupid unless you can spell it. The Swedish people were helping Jews long before the Americans even got involved in the war. I also have family members and friends in the military who are all very kind and polite which leads me to think that you are not a soldier at all.
Elina (Sweden) - 11/10/2005 : Gi Joe: Do you watch the news?
Anja (Sweden) - 11/10/2005 : GI Joe, do you know anything about the swedish history?
Elina (Sweden) - 11/10/2005 : GI Joe: Don't mention hell and my family in the same context please. You just writes it to be COOL but you don't think of the words meaning. I thought americans were very religious.
Elina (Sweden) - 11/10/2005 : Gi Joe: I dont talk about jobless people, I talk about dossers.
Gary (USA) - 11/10/2005 : I just retired from the Army after 32 years in the Army and though GI Joe sounds a little extreme he makes complete sense in his military analysis. I was in Iraq during the war and left 3 weeks ago. He is exactly right with the Iraqi people. I do believe he is a soldier as to where he is as well as what the Iraqi people say. I dont believe that Erin knows anybody in Iraq as I know hundreds that have returned from Europe as well as the U.S. who are helping with the rebuilding of the country. Saddams daughter was on the news today and praised the United States and the U.K. as well as the rest of the other countries involved. She says that Iraq has come a long way in rebuilding as well as forming a government and though we have these insurgents from OTHER countries as well as the few Saddam supporters that are causing problems and bombings, they are a SMALL minority and a very small voice only about 2-3%. They are thugs and criminals that will be brought to justice. This is not only in Iraq but in the U.K., Indonesia, and other countries with islamic extremists. I have friends in Iraq who have married Iraqi women as well as Iraqi men and I know for a fact things are going well over there. Just for your information I retired a Lt. Col in the 617th MP Co.in the Army, so any soldier will know that I am who I say I am. And Elina I understand where you are comming from, the news you get and what is actually happening is so different that you get somones opinion and not what is going on. I feel bad for you and the rest of the European Union as to what is going on. I was stationed in Germany for 9 years and know what they tell you. What you know is so small and minute that to ome you know absolutly nothing and are just a bunch of hot air. You are not even worth talking to as you have your own little mind set narrowly and dont want to hear the truth. Gi Joe is right, but again he is a gung ho soldier and is fed up with the news media as I am with misquoting and stretching the truth for their own selfish political agendas. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND MAY HE OPEN ALL YOUR EYES!!!! AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS AMERICA!!!!
Erin (USA) - 11/10/2005 : What I said about Suddam is actually what an Iraqi told me and if you don't beleive that it isn't my problem. I love America and I think it is a great country even though I don't support the war. If Gi Joe is such a gung ho American soldier spreading freedom maybe he should be more respectful of people's opinions because having the right to your opinion is part of being free.
Younis (Jordan) - 13/10/2005 : Well Erin I am from Jordan and I have Family in Iraq as well as being from Iraq. I was educated in America at Harvard Medical School. I left Iraq with my family in 1989. I believe that you last statement is you problem as it appears you have been lied to and do not know the truth. I have 2 cousins that were killed by Saddams sons, both of them were 15 year old girls, raped and murdered. I am here in Jordan working in medical practice near the border. I go to different areas in Iraq to help were I can. You have no idea of the tragedies commited here and it saddens me that many people in the world think the way you do. There was no one there to speak out and do somthing for all those who were being tortured, raped and murdered like my cousins until President Bush came and liberated us. The majority of Iraqis close to 90% love President Bush and what he and the people here helping us has done. People like you serve no purpose by your critisism but give life and meaning and cause to those terrorists who want to kill us and control us the way Saddam has. So I ask you please dont give them any more support by condemning those who wish to free us. I was told about this site by a friend from America and he thought I would find it interesting. I praise those who support us and I pray for those who condemn those who who are helping us by asking Allah or God to those who are Christians or Jewish, we are all brothers and sisters he created, that you open your eyes to see the evil that is taking place in the world today by all of those who are exploding bombs in public places killing all of those poor people. They do not speak for Islam or Allah. They are for their own special interest and are true evil and the ones they guide into this are out of lack of education. They will answer even more to Allah for the lies and criminal acts they lead these poor people into. So I pray all of you open your eyes and look at the evil these people are doing and look at this objectivly and put away your partisan poitics. Anyone trying to kill inocent people with suicide bombs and car bombs is evil. How can you see it any other way. If the coalition leaves now we will all be killed and will be worse off than when Saddam was in power. We will be like Afganistan was with terrorists controling our country and have a government like the Taliban. Things will even be worse as now there are real weapons in Iraq more so than were in Afganistan. Dont let this happen again. May God bless all of you.
Anja (Sweden) - 13/10/2005 : Younis, I think many of us like what Bush did with Saddam but that is not the point here. I just wonder why do not Bush care about his own people? Why were he playing golf when Katrina blowed in in the south-west part? Why does he want to brag for the world what a hero he was helping the Iraqi people when he doesn't help the american ones?
Erin (USA) - 13/10/2005 : Well I don't know! I'm only fifteen. Half the people here say the war is good half of them say it is bad. People from Iraq tell me they don't want the Americans there and how their friends were killed and now some more people from Iraq are telling me they love the Americans. I don't know what to think.
Elina (Sweden) - 14/10/2005 : You are right, Erin. This discussion is totally meaningless.
Rob (usa) - 14/10/2005 : I am from New Orleans and it was not Bus who let us down. It was my Governor and Mayor who let us down. Bush couldnt do anything in our state unless the Mayor and Governor said he could. It is a state issue. The stupid Mayor and Governor WHO I VOTED FOR!!! let us down!!! They stopped Federal money and help for 3 days from getting to us!!!! I lost my house, my, job, my car and my dog. I have nothing left. I met the President whom I did not like for a long time because of what I was told. I was wrong about him and I admit it whole heartedly. When this stupid Governor and idiot Mayor finally let Bush send in federal help they didnt waste time and things are looking much better, though we have a long way to go. I will never vote for another Democrat AGAIN!!!!! They took my money and wasted it!!!! So anyone that thinks Bush screwed things up, they dont know what they are talking about. Bush was there when we we needed him and when he could do somthing. It was the librals like Ted Kennedy and John Kerry and my Governor and Mayor that screwed it up for us and why so many people died here. I trusted them with my money and they let us Down!!!! I am SO MAD AT MY DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!!! I KNOW WHO THE PEOPLES FRIENDS ARE NOWWW!!!! AND IT IS NOT THE DEMOCRATS OR LIBRALS!!! I LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF YOU PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!GOD BLESS GEORGE BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Erin (USA) - 15/10/2005 : It wasn't the democratic party who let you down it was the mayor and governor. You can't blame the entire party for two member's mistakes.
.-. (somewhere in the world) - 22/10/2005 : Oh come on. America is bad in many ways and good in many ways. America is very, very (!) religious (I got a shock when I experienced it). But still they are starting wars. It doesn't make sense. And I can't belive how some people here can be so rude. Why pick on Sweden? Sweden is a great country (I've been there many times)who tries the best they can to help other countries who needs help. And if you count per habitand they're giving so much more many than the us. american people (not everybody) knows so little about the rest of the world. And why talk about the world wars? what has that to do about whats happening now? GI Joe and David: You've made me look down at america even more. why can't you listen to other people and respect them?
Lacy (USA) - 01/11/2005 : The U.S. does not LIKE war, but we recognize that after years and years of talking, when things still don't get accomplished, someone needs to take action. Like I said in my last post, the U.S. is by no means perfect, but people should not hate our country. And people also should not think that we are stupid and ignorant to the things that our country really does. I KNOW what goes on in my country. I take pride in making sure I see things from our point of view, as well as other countries' points of view. But so many posts that I've read are SO hypocritical. You say you hate Americans because we are hateful, and we do all these evil things, and we are all selfish, or stupid, or whatever...But many of you are stereotyping us all into one huge lump group, and that is not fair at all. You can't blame the majority for the minority. You should never judge a group by its radicals.
Kajsa (Sweden) - 01/11/2005 : Very well written Lacy :) And lets just respect each others opinions.
Marc (Canada) - 03/11/2005 : I have a little question for you, americans. What would you think of a politician who has been taking hard drugs such as cocaine in the past? would it be acceptable?
Erin (USA) - 03/11/2005 : As long as it was in the past :)
AM (Finland) - 04/11/2005 : Hey guys, I just wanted to say that many people seem to mix the people and the government together, and don't see that they are actually different things. Even if you don't agree with american government, you don't have to hate americans. And if americans hate all europeans (by the way there are many different countries in Europe) just because they've heard that not everyone agrees with their foreign policy, it's also not right. Because in every country there are different people and different cultures, and they are worth respecting despite the actions of the leaders. Each country also has unique history with good and bad things in it: so don't judge the countries by their past, but the present. And also, I've noticed that many people see their country narrowly, from a personal point of view, and if they really don't get into their history, they know only what's in the 'collective memory'. So I think that personal insults are not so nice, they only show that you're emotional about the thing and are not maybe giving the facts. What I'd ultimately like is fact-based constructive debate without getting so personal. That way we could maybe make this world a better place for everyone. But a couple of things I must say: communism doesn't exist in Europe anymore(only in some minor groups). And Sweden, although it was a neutral country during the war, of course took some part in it. War is war. And americans, although they did a big part of it, didn't save all the Europe alone. Black and white is something I don't like. Thanks for reading and let's just be friends okay:).
Elina (Sweden) - 07/11/2005 : AM - OK, it might be the government as decide what USA shall do. But we can blame the americans, they live in USA and they accept Bush and they voted for him. (by the way, Sweden was not a member in the world war 2. War is not war for Sweden). I hope you get it sooner or later.
Anja (Sweden) - 07/11/2005 : Hi, If Sweden not existed no one would have blond hair (not albinos though...) and USA would not exist either.
AM (Finland) - 07/11/2005 : Yeah, I admit that of course in a democratic country you have a choice to make. But, you have to remember that the last time only about half of the voters voted for Bush, so the other half didn't. You can't generalize and think that ALL the americans are to be blamed (like you can't think all the europeans are communists, as some seem to think). I'm just saying that people are much more than their political views, and we can't think people as black and white. And I didn't say that Sweden was a member of the second world war, I said it took some part in it (not in an active way, but through some choices it made). War is war for everyone, and Sweden choose to be neutral in order to survive (it was lucky enough to have a choice-not everyone did). Each country does what is in its best interest during the war, so there were things Sweden had to do (or not do) even though they were not fighting. I'm talking about political decisions. I get very well the history of world wars, I've studied them quite a lot. I've got nothing against Sweden, so don't worry:). I just try to stick with the facts.
OnlyMe (justhere) - 07/11/2005 : Maybe war has not been war to Sweden in 20th century but before that it certainly has.
Anja (Sweden) - 08/11/2005 : AM>> maybe soo but if the people in USA don't like Bush they should try to change the situation. Look what they are doing in Paris and France. The population should protest more. If 50% 'hate' Bush why don't they do anything?
steven ozias (burkina faso) - 08/11/2005 : j'aime les usa prcq ce pays est un exemple de democratie dans le monde . Mon souhait c'est d'aller contunier mes etudes car les plus grde connaices y sont.
EG (USA) - 08/11/2005 : Lots of people do protest. Its not going to change anything. What do you want us to do? Riot in the streets?
Erin (United States) - 08/11/2005 : Some of Russia is in Europe.
Elina (Sweden) - 09/11/2005 : EG, why not. If you are so uncomfortable with Bush, just force him to retire. Do what you can, you can not wait for anyone else to do it. No, Russia is not in Europe. It is mostly in Asia and a country can not be in two parts of the world, so Russia belongs to Asia.
EG (USA) - 09/11/2005 : And how am I supposed to force Bush to retire? You tell me.
EG (USA) - 09/11/2005 : Who says a country can't be in two parts of the world?
Elina (Sweden) - 10/11/2005 : I dont get what you mean, EG. You tell me half of the population in USA hate Bush, then what do you ask me now? How to force Bush of his throne? You can protest! It lives 293 000 000 people in USA, do you get how much that is? And you are saying that 143 000 000 of them dislike Bush and you are still asking how to force him to retire? Oh my god...
EG (USA) - 10/11/2005 : You can't just force a president to retire because you don't like him. That's not how are government works. Why don't you force him to retire?
Elina (Sweden) - 11/11/2005 : Cause I dont live in USA. (and I'm not the one as have to be ashamed over my president).
ANJA (SWEDEN) - 11/11/2005 : HAVE ANY BUSHLOVER HERE HEARD OF MR MONROE? THAT WAS AN AMERICAN MINISTER WHO GOT AN IDÉE: SOUTH AND NORTH AMERICA WORK TOGETHER AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT THE REST OF THE WORLD DO. THAT IS NOT THEIR BUSINESS. AND EUROPE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT AMERICA DO. IF EUROPEAN SOLDIERS CAME TO AMERICA TO RESCUE (!) POOR PEOPLE SHOULD BUSH BECOME VERY VERY ANGRY, NOONE THEIR WOULD LIKE IT. BUT THAT IS EXACLTY WAS USA DO. PRESIDENT BUSH HAS PROBABLY FORGOT OLD MR MONROE.
EG (USA) - 12/11/2005 : So Anja, should the United States stop giving aid to Africa?
EG (USA) - 12/11/2005 : Well Elina, I am sure that if you lived in the USA Bush would already be out of office.
Anja (Sweden) - 14/11/2005 : I am just saying that USA and the rest part of America can do what ever they want, when ever they want, Where ever they want. Noone else can do that. USA can bomb Iraq but no other country can bomb USA.
Elina (Sweden) - 14/11/2005 : EG, you can not complain and say that half of the population in USA hate Bush (= many people) and then say that you cant do anything cause you can if you try. You cant act alone, but you are not alone.
EG (USA) - 14/11/2005 : That's because if someone bombs the USA we'll kick their ass.
EG (USA) - 14/11/2005 : Elina, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Protesting doesn't do anything. Its not going to get Bush out of office. Many people are already protesting. It doesn't matter.
Anja (Sweden) - 15/11/2005 : EG, That is the piont, you have finally get it!! Yes USA would kick our ass how come noone kicks USA:s ass?
Elina (Sweden) - 15/11/2005 : Ok, EG. That is because USA is a cranky country. It works in every other country, but USA has become a 'world - police' and now you cant come down from your lofty. sorry...
Anja (Sweden) - 15/11/2005 : How many people here are going to watch the new Harry Potter movie this weekend? Oh, I forgot you americans just care about your own movies... You wont let anything 'differnet' in to your country...
EG (USA) - 15/11/2005 : No one kicks the USA's ass because they wouldn't dare
EG (USA) - 15/11/2005 : Of course people here will watch the Harry Potter movie. We will watch movies from anywhere as long as they are GOOD.
Max (U.S) - 16/11/2005 : I DO NOT LIKE STEREOTYPES GET YOUR FACTS AND LISTEN TO REASON ANJA and I am going on the first day of the Harry potter movie
Anja (Sweden) - 16/11/2005 : That is nice Max!!
Max (US) - 17/11/2005 : I agree that we americans do have problems. But there are things that we are also right about. Sometimes we brag, sometimes we don't respect others, and there are other times that we don't have the facts before we say things. There are also problems with other countries and Anja, you are giving me a bad impression of what people in Sweden are like.
Anja (Sweden) - 18/11/2005 : Max how did you thought the swedish people was like?
callie (usa) - 19/11/2005 : hello?
Cecilia (Sverige) - 21/11/2005 : varför försvarar alla amerikanare presidenten och hans handlingar? :(
Anja (Sweden) - 22/11/2005 : Cecilia, why don't you write in english? Anyway, concratulation!! It is the Cecilia day today.
EG (USA) - 24/11/2005 : Elina, I disagree and I personally think Swedish people are strange. Also if you are going to insult us do it in a language we can all understand. Don't be a pussy and and try to talk behind our backs in Swedish. Say it to our face.
EG (USA) - 24/11/2005 : And your description of America sounds more like a description of yourself.
Elina (Sweden) - 24/11/2005 : EG! I wrote in Swedish cause Cecilia did that. She asked a question and I answered it! My desciption of america is what I see in the newspaper, I just telling what I hear about it in Sweden. What Europe (and the rest of the world) thinks about USA.
Anja (Sweden) - 24/11/2005 : EG, I think you should go to school and learn some swedish. We can speak your language, why can't you speak ours?
ME (THE WORLD) - 24/11/2005 : AMERICANS ARE FULL OF THEMSELVES! IT'S TIME THEY GOING TO BE MORE OPENMINDED AND THAT THEY LEARN THAT THERE IS AN OTHER TRUTH THEN THE LIES ON FOX NEWS ETC...
EG (USA) - 25/11/2005 : Anja, you learn English because it is a major language. Not that many people learn Swedish because it is not a major language. ME, you need to be more open minded about your opinion of Americans.
melly soriano (philippine) - 27/11/2005 : hello how are you applesant good day specially to your family there in america how's your trip coming yo there i miss you and take care of your self i always pray to your healht godbless ilove you
Anja (Sweden) - 28/11/2005 : EG, I know that. The thing about the swedish language was a JOKE!!
Ian (U.S) - 01/12/2005 : Hay ME Have you ever been to the U.S {can you kindly tell me}
Luize (Poland) - 05/12/2005 : hi i do not like usa because of what they do in other countrys but i like their stars and movies.
Moon (USA) - 07/12/2005 : What do you mean Luize? Do you not like that were putting the Al Qaeda where they belong? I, for one, think that they need to reread there holy Koran and get there facts straight. Where in the Koran does it justify them killing innocent women and children. I don't see why I should have any sympathy for them after what they did to us. After what they've done to the world. They need to pull there heads out of their butts, and wake up and realize that this is a big world. It's a big enough world to have a bunch of different views, and we dont all have to be like them. As for you 'ME'. America is the melting pot, to say that they are full of themselfs is just...well stupid.
Moon (USA) - 07/12/2005 : More open minded? Ok 'ME' there are some countrys where if a women is pregnant before marriage she could be killed. Open minded? ha ha. IN America Abortion is legal, g @ y marriage is legal in some states, and were free to be whatever religion we want. Whether its athiest to catholic to a Satanist. Here it's all good. So come on give me a break. More open minded! HA HA HA If we were anymore open minded we'd be running around in the nude, and killing everyone that passes us.
Moon (USA) - 07/12/2005 : Anja no offence but your language isn't really going to come in handy for us. We're learning Spanish. Who in the world speaks Swedish anyway? This is where you place comments on America, and Americans speak English. If you don't like it well to bad.
Elina (Sweden) - 08/12/2005 : MOON: DARE I ASK YOU: WHERE IN THE BIBLE (or what religion you belongs to, since America is a SO open minded country) DOES IT JUSTIFY THE USA TO KILL INNOCENT WOMEN, CHILDREN AND MEN! (did you know that 100 000 Iraqi (both women, children and men) has been killed by some americans since USA reached Iraq). How do you know that it was Al Qaida as did that thing to you? They have never admittedly it.
Anja (Sweden) - 08/12/2005 : 'Noone' in Europe supports USA or Al Qaida, but a lot of people thinks that USA and Al Qaida are both as dumb. USA kills innocent people and Al Qaida aswell. Bush treats Terror with terror!! There is a romour in Europe (I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS TRUTH OR NOT)says that 2 AMERICAN airplanes flew in 2 towers in a country where BinLaden lived before. That was before 11/9 2001!! (1980)
EG (USA) - 08/12/2005 : Elina, I don't agree with the war in Iraq. Lots of people here don't. You refuse to beleive that but it is true. Al Qaida did admit to being behind September 11th. I agree with you that it is horrible that so many innocent Iraqis have been killed during and before the war. I have no problem with Al Qaida members being killed and you shouldn't either considering they are terrorists. And Anja that is a rumor and you shouldn't beleive everything you hear.
EG (USA) - 08/12/2005 : And when I say beleive i mean believe :)
Elina (Sweden) - 09/12/2005 : I have also heard about that attack against africa from USA. I don't like AlQaida. All I'm saying is that terrorist kill people, but USA is doing that to. Why do you think USA got attacked? I dont know but I can guess.
Luize (Poland) - 09/12/2005 : exacly what did usa do to stop alqida? do you know? i know alqida did stupid things but what did usa do? run i the forrest in afghanistan looking for a man...
EG (USA) - 09/12/2005 : I don't know. But the United States is my country and I love it even if the government isn't very good right now.
selo (U.S.A) - 11/12/2005 : HELLO...
Anja (Sweden) - 12/12/2005 : EG, Luize and Elina you are absolutly right!!
Khalona (Croatia) - 16/12/2005 : Hello. I luv american things like their films and musik.
Luize (Poland) - 16/12/2005 : i love thier film to
Anja (Sweden) - 20/12/2005 : Is movies the only thing you knows about USA??
Luize (Poland) - 20/12/2005 : no i know about stars to but i like stars in europe to they are very childish in usa and they are more like adults in europe
EG (USA) - 22/12/2005 : If only i lived in Europe....
Kajsa (Sweden) - 28/12/2005 : Ha ha. It's very fun to read what everybody have written, all arguments :P But I must ask one thing, Anja, Elina have you every been to the u.s. you seem to be judging them very hard (well the people writing about sweden too, have you ever been there?) not all americans are stupid, many are nice :) and some swedes are stupid but not every one. Merry Christmas (a bit late) and a HAPPY NEW YEAR :D
Anja (Sweden) - 11/01/2006 : Kajsa, we are not judging the american movies, the people or McDonald's. We are just judging people who likes Bush and his politic and his way to act. We don't like their attitude to war and the way some americans belives about the iraqi-people.
Anja (Sweden) - 11/01/2006 : And by the way, Yes I have been in america.
Kwame Manu (U.S.A.) - 20/01/2006 : Listen Anja got a point, we are pretty fat, our president sucks, were at war for really no reason and most citizens refuse to acknowledge it! Not to mention were 8,000,000,000,000 dollars in debt I understand you want to be a patriot and defend your country but know the facts before you get mad. I think everybody should look into the facts of the war a little more before this argument heats up.
Elina (Sweden) - 23/01/2006 : Did you ever see the 'super size me' movie? The students in school have to PAY for fat and fast food.
Kwame Manu (U.S.A.) - 25/01/2006 : I'm not saying you are fat i'm not either there are just as many fit American's as fat one's but we do have the fattest nation in the world you can't deny it, I live in boulder the fittest city in the U.S.A. and there's still lot's of fat people. Also Bush's approval ratings's are in the toilet to go back to an earlier topic. Although EG I see that you have managed to turn my last post into a direct attack onto yourself grow up!
clam (france) - 25/01/2006 : does fatty EG want a cookie. oh fatty is too slow to get the cookie. are you foing to go cry to your president. is he goinig to attack us fatty? poor fatty. poor poor fatty.
EG (USA) - 25/01/2006 : People in Sweden don't have to pay for their lunch?
Elina (Sweden) - 26/01/2006 : Ofcourse we don't pay for our school-lunch! The government (taxes) do that! The government pay a lot of things here.
Anja (Sweden) - 27/01/2006 : When we see a fat person in Sweden everyone are thinking 'Oh my God!!'. And everyone are staring at that fat person. I guess we're just unfamiliar with that.
EG (USA) - 29/01/2006 : I also guess you guys are kind of rude then.
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 31/01/2006 : Elina of course the taxes pay for your food, you live in a socialist coutry. You see America is all about capitalism and making it on your own. It's plain too see that maybe America has the bigger gut, but you my dear certainly don't have the bigger brain. Also what you have too understand about those Bush lovers is; they know nothing. And, clearly, you don't either. You see most Americans don't like Bush. And the ones that do aren't aware of how he's been lying too us. Elina, girl, your going against everything your saying. Your saying that the terrorist are wrong...and your saying 'I dont' know why they attacked them, but I can guess.' You are trying to justify what they have done? That really makes me mad. America has it's faults, America does have SOME cruel people, but honestly does that ever justify killing? I don't understand how anyone could hate America. America is a land made up of every single race from every single country. This is our hope land. Is this a place we can keep? It's everyones country whether you like it or not. Why hurt something so wonderful? Americas going down the drain, what are we going to do about that?
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 31/01/2006 : 'EG (USA) - 22/12/2005 : If only i lived in Europe....' You don't understand. Thay have taxes they have to pay in order to have their meals paid for. Some of you kids don't realize that though because your not paying those taxes.
hug-a-tree (europe) - 31/01/2006 : 'Elina (Sweden) - 03/10/2005 : david! Dont talk about things as you dont know about!' Oh this is so cute. So Americans basically haven't done anything too help this world? Wow, you know nothing about history do you? The whole freakin' reason why we have Ameirca is too help people! You think my grandparents came over here from Ireland too get fat? They went over to get a job, America helpped. Who was feeding the Germans during the time fo WWII? We were, of course no one cares to remember this. I really don't think Sweden has made any sort of dent in the world to help. So, for everyones sake, shut up.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 31/01/2006 : 'Elina (Sweden) - 08/12/2005 : MOON: DARE I ASK YOU: WHERE IN THE BIBLE (or what religion you belongs to, since America is a SO open minded country) DOES IT JUSTIFY THE USA TO KILL INNOCENT WOMEN, CHILDREN AND MEN! (did you know that 100 000 Iraqi (both women, children and men) has been killed by some americans since USA reached Iraq). How do you know that it was Al Qaida as did that thing to you? They have never admittedly it' Wow girl, I can make a book on your stupidity. Alrightie, first does seperation between church and state ring a bell? Why are you going on about the bible when that's nothing to do with nothing. And, I've read the bible. The bible justifies lots of killing. Read more, talk less. Yes, America has killed loads of innocent people. It's not like we're sitting here drinking coke to celebrate it. You have to understand that in every war there will be innocent people dieing. Is it right? No, it's not. I wish they never went to war at all. Sometimes you do have to fight though. Whats going to be left of America if we just sit back and ignore whats going on all around us? Boy, you Swedish people don't have people coming too kill you guys all the time do you? I can forgive you for all the garbage you've said about America, and I think you should be saying sorry to all the Americans on here. You insulted a country that has been loved for years. You've soiled all the memories of when America has helped countless people. Or just keep telling your self that its fine for you to be saying things about america when you know that if anyone said anything about your country it would hurt you and you'd lose your bloody mind. Don't listen to her everyone. Some great points, but mostly it's all just full of hate.
Anja (Sweden) - 31/01/2006 : HUG-A-TREE, are YOU mad? Do you know the American Government only pay 50% of your medical-needs? What if your grand-father needs a new heart worth 65 000$ but he can't afford it? Do you think it is fair to let him DIE? Are you a crazy Conservative?
Anja (Sweden) - 31/01/2006 : HUG-A-TREE, the U.S is a big country why does Sweden give poor countries more money than the whole USA does. Imagene how much money the whole Europe is donating. It lives as many people in Los Angeles, California as it does in whole Sweden. Do you realize how much money Sweden can donate thanks to our taxes?! And we are not suffering like people in USA do!! Why don't USA donate more money if you are so nice and friendly?
Ketchup, mustard & hotdog (Also Europe) - 31/01/2006 : Hug-a-tree you are such a lozer, Elina got a point. It do sounds to us that you are full of hate to everyone, exept the Americans. Al-Quida has never admit that is was they as did the attack in USA, and it is a dumb thing to go in Afghanistan looking for Usama Bin Laden. But if your president want to waste money on that is up to him... You say 'Don't listen to her everyone', why are you saying that? Can't you stand criticism? And please, one last thing, can you tell us one positive thing about Bush?
EG (USA) - 31/01/2006 : I don't know where you are getting your information from but Al Quida definately admitted to being behind September 11th. How is it dumb to go looking for the person that has attacked and plans to attack your country in the future? I don't like Bush very much or the war in Iraq. But I think Anja, Elina, and some other people only focus on the negative things about the United States. There are a lot of good things too.
EG (USA) - 01/02/2006 : So how about someone puts something nice about the United States for once?
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : You can say I'm full of hate all you want, but remember when you point your finger at someone you have three fingers pointing back at yourself. I am not a conservative, but what if I were? Are you so narrow minded to say that everyone has to think like you? America isn't set up like your country. Yeah the taxes maybe working you you guys. But in a place like America that will never work. The US does things as well. We have a thing called Welfare, check it out! I've liveed half my life on that, so don't talk about things you don't understand.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : I guess it doesn't matter what I say. Whenever someone stands up for America they get shot down.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : I am now going to state my own thought on the war and so on. First off I'd like to say that I'm a military Brat. I am American, but I live in Europe. My dad was sent in war before, which is one reason why I get really bent out of shape when people talk bad about the soliders in Iraqi because I know that that could very well be my dad. Do I agree with the war? No, I don't. Is it the American peoples fault? I don't think al the blame goes to them. We haven't been under attack in years, what are we supposed to think? We're going to let the government do the thinking for us. Is it right? No, it's not. And ignorace is no excuse but that's the way it is right now. I don't think we should've invaded Iraq. First we went there for weapons of mass distruction...and well bushy ole boy where are they? There was no weapon and Bush shouldnot have just thought that up. Points for being imaginative. Then bush quickly changed the war from that too 'Iraqi freedom'. Alright, the Iraqis weren't doing so good with their leader, but are they seriously any better now? I don't think so! Do you honestly think that it was about Iraqi freedom? Aren't there many countries with leaders like him who does the same thing to his people? I'm sure as heck there is and I don't see Bush giving a fiddlers fart about that does he? The American people, though you may think I'm wrong, don't like Bush. I haven't talked to an American who likes Bush in over two years. He's lied to us. We have poor Clinton impeached because of his womenizing, but what about Bushes lies too everyone in his country??? Frankly I don't care about Clintons personal life. What has his personal affairs ever done for me? Nothing!!! There are bigger issues here.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : 'Elina (Sweden) - 27/09/2005 : You are right, Chris. The americans brag to much, I don't like it' How many Americans have you gotten to know in your life? I mean really get to understand? Proabably none.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : Ketchup, mustard & hotdog: Where did I EVER say that I was a bush lover? Or that I was against the taxes in Europe, and that I can't take the criticism? I can take the criticism, but can you honestly? I mean I say a few things and suddenly I am Bush crazied...as if I was hoping to jump his bones. When in truth I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. That's me fixing whats been said, not me having my knickers in a knot because you insulted my country. I don't care what you say about America though if what your saying is-what I think, trash- I'm going to say something. That's how it goes!
Anja (Sweden) - 01/02/2006 : USA's and Bush's higest dream is to distroy all terrorists. But how can anyone fight against terrorism with terrorism? That is exactly what mr Bush is doing... What is terrorism anyway? Is realising a bomb terrorism? Correct me if I am wrong here but is it wrong to kill american women but not the pakistani ones? I ask this question to a Bush-lover. Can anyone please tell me the answer?
Anja (Sweden) - 01/02/2006 : HUG-A-TREE: 'Is it (the war) the American peoples fault? I don't think al the blame goes to them' How can you say that, Hug-a-tree? Didn't the american people vote for president Bush in the selection?
Anja (Sweden) - 01/02/2006 : HUG-A-TREE: You wrote this yesterday: 'Alrightie, first does seperation between church and state ring a bell'. Why are abortion forbidden in some states in USA? Why are the movie Brokeback mountain banned in some states? Because some americans thinks God hates homos*e*xuality and abortions etc. The politicians make the laws and they also often go to church. How can you say politic and church is two different things? (Have you never heard of the american dream? Are abortion and homo*s*e*x*uality a part of that dream?)
Elina (Sweden) - 01/02/2006 : You dont know anything about me, Hug-a-tree. You dont know where I lived or why. You are taking naturally that I have been living in Sweden for all my life. You can't say I dont know anything about americans and life in America. And you dont have to tell me anything about the attack, cause I know very much about it since one my cousins was in the WTC and an other in a captured airplane. In someway am I blaming the terrorists, but in an other way must the americans (and their president) think of what the consequences can be of their actions in other countries or when they (both president and others) are expressing things.
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : 'Anja (Sweden) - 01/02/2006 : HUG-A-TREE: 'Is it (the war) the American peoples fault? I don't think al the blame goes to them' How can you say that, Hug-a-tree? Didn't the american people vote for president Bush in the selection?' Did the American people vote for this man? Do you think they knew he'd be leading us into war anyway? Have you ever read this book 'Stupid white men' by Michael Moore? Well he's saying that Gore had more votes then Bush. So what does that say?
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : Anja, I don't think Abortion is banned in any states, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Some people jsut don't like it. A lot of it has nothing to do with religion some people just feel that it's murder (see some Americans do care about killing other people). It all depends on the way you look at it I guess. It's the same with H*o m o se * xuals. Why force a state too allow g a * y marriage when they don't want it? Maybe that it taking away a right, but isn't that taking away their right as well? I'm all for g a *y marriage, but I realize that not everyone is. So who am I to force them in to being ok with it? So long as they are respectful to them why should anyone really care anyway? Ha ha, Broke back Mountain, I don't think that's banned anywhere in one state. Maybe in some towns...in some countries you can be hanged for being g a y so I don't think them banning a movie is THAT big of a deal. Most people in America totally support it though. Who cares if the Politicians go too church? Should religious people not be allowed to work in the government? That's just as bad as someone saying a h o m o s *e *x u a l can't work in office. That's not fair at all. Why does relgion have to be a big deal? It's really not a big deal but everyone is making it out too be.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : Alright Elina, what do you want me to say? Sorry? I don't want to. I happen to love America. I don't love the war, but I believe in Ameirca. I believe that someday it will be great again. It's not doing to hot right now with Bush in office, but what will happen next I wonder? I am sorry for your cousin, honestly. I don't see why me knowing anything about you is important. I'm just going off of things you've said on here.
hug-a-tree (Europe) - 01/02/2006 : Anja, We're not really using terrorism. They knew we were coming too war with them. They didn't ring us up saying 'yo, your dead.' or anything did they? Terrorism is more of a surprise thing.
Elina (Sweden) - 02/02/2006 : OK, Hug-a-tree. I hope that Hillary Clinton will be the next president, she seams to be a good and great person!! I also hope that everything will be alright soon!!
Anja (Sweden) - 02/02/2006 : Hey, I don't hate USA. There are some good things there too. Like the fresh prince in Bel Air for exemple... I love that show!
Anja (Sweden) - 02/02/2006 : I am not talking about the first selection, why did the american people vote for Bush again?
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 02/02/2006 : Alright, I got the impression that you guys were just here to make Americans sound bad. I don't mind the anti-war thing. I understand that like everyone is against it. Anja, why did the American people vote for him again? Good question. It's a real shame that most of the American people that vote are big time conservatives...not that there is anytihng wrong with them but they are generally the people that are like 'what the president says goes.' There has been some talk that Bush wasn't even voted president. And no-one really knew if Kerry was any better. He never stated his views on anything. I'm guessing that he would've been better, but can we know that for sure? Wasn't Kerry all for the war as well? it's just like replacing one evil for another. Hilary would make a good president, I think. But I don't think she's planning on running.
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 02/02/2006 : The fresh prince of bel air, ha ha. I like that show too. I like that american show desperate housewives even more. OH! And friends! Have you watched that?
Elina (Sweden) - 03/02/2006 : No, I dont think Hillary Clinton want to be president eigher, but I hope so. I love Friends. (it is called VÄNNER in Sweden). Joey is cool and funny!! I love when he says 'how are you doing...?'
Anja (Sweden) - 03/02/2006 : Yes, I watch both Desperate housewives and Friends. I like Joey in Friends, he is funny... An other good show is 'Lost'. Hug-a-tree, I am sorry I was mean to you before.
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 03/02/2006 : Anja, it's cool. I'm not mad at you. I wasn't exactly the nicest to you either. It's all fine. No hard feelings. Lost is good. That guy that's on it, from Lord of the rings, is so hot. Elina, I don't think so either but she'd do a good job I think. You know who else would make a good president? Micheal Moore, haha
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 10/02/2006 : It doesn't matter what gender I am. And sometimes once you tell someone your gender they tend to judge you differently, for better for worse. But it's not fair. I personally don't mind all that much. I'm a girl, yeah.
Anja (Sweden) - 20/02/2006 : I am sorry for this but: AMERICANS SUCKS IN ICEHOCKEY!!
Hug-a-tree (Europe) - 20/02/2006 : ha ha, you can't be mad when someone is stating the truth.
EG (USA) - 23/02/2006 : Has the United States won anything yet? I haven't really been watching.
Elina (Sweden) - 24/02/2006 : I think you won something with snowboard, but I'm not sure.
hug-a-tree08 (Europe) - 24/02/2006 : I think they won a skiing thing...I'm not sure. I can look it up if you'd like EG. I only watched a bit of it. My TV hasn't been working besides I'm always to busy to watch it anyway. I'm moving to America again this summer. I'm going to miss Europe *sniff* *sniff* I've lived here for so long. I miss America though as well.
Elina (Sweden) - 27/02/2006 : I think the swedish hockeyteam is the best ever!! (and the ladies too).
Anja (Sweden) - 28/02/2006 : Var du och kollade på när hockey-hjältarna kom hem från Italien, Elina?
Ketchup, mustard & hotdog (Also Europe) - 16/03/2006 : We like sports too, football is cool.
SHAROOOOOOOON!! ('Ozzy's wife') - 17/03/2006 : Hi, Ketchup. Do you mean football or SOCCER?! Soccer is so cool!! I love Ronaldinho!!
AYBABTU (United states of America) - 22/03/2006 : ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!! THE MOON LANDING IS FAKE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GERMANY!!! THE VIETNAM WAR WAS A CASH SCAM!!! THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE IS ACTUALLY A SQUARE!!! THERE IS NO SUCH ATHINGS AS ALIENS DOING CROP CIRCLES ITS A HOAX!!! BIGFOOT IS MY HOMEDAWG IN A BEAR SUIT!!! FORTY YEAR OLD PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE WORKING AT FAST FOOD JOINTS!!! WATERGATE WAS JUSTIFIED!!! JFK IS STILL ALIVE!!! TUPAC WAS A HOMO!!! BUT STILL, AMERICA KICKS ASS!!!
EG (USA) - 05/04/2006 : Wow...
samuel (Nigeria) - 13/04/2006 : USA is great, but they should watch out otherwise they will be overtaken by other smaller nations, like: china, japan, and a host of other silent countries.US should also be aware of the growing hatraed from the muslem world esp. in the middle east .As they play dominant and leadership role in the world today,it is quite expected that the aggrieved countries will be nurssing some negative fealings about them. All i am saying is that USA SHOULD,in their foriegn pollicies,be more kind with the third world countries, and should carry UN along in all sensitive issues.Above all, well done to the giant of the world, and please do reserve a place for me and others who desire to live in an organised society.
Pierre (France - Suede) - 03/05/2006 : Allez les suedois allié vous avec les francais!
Pierre (France - Suede) - 03/05/2006 : Eh! le suedois c'est presque comme le Norsk? ja?
sam (usa) - 15/05/2006 : the usa is a great place and you erery calls it apeice of shit is apeice shit
P.Raghuveer Rao (India) - 23/05/2006 : USA is the most advanced country in the world, having best economies with high value for human rights and democracy.Infact it is the best country in the world next only to great Britan, France Germany and Japan. It has the big brother status for maitaing the world order,in the process it is becoming most hated in islamic countries, and other countries which are prone to Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism, it should include countries such as Saudi Arabia,Turkey, Malaysia etc as close allies to convience muslim World. It should also work closely with Russia,China and India to make them work for Globalization market oriented economies along with European union
stacey (england) - 04/06/2006 : America is the best country in the world, God bless America
Sean (USA) - 07/06/2006 : The USA is the best country in the world. People think that we americans think we are the best, that a completely wrong stereotype, we KNOW we are the best. American society has its faults, major and minor, but at least we stand up for ourselves and others, rather than sitting back and watching from the sidelines. We may not be the richest country in the world any longer, with the creation of the Euro, but we still have the money to do whatever we want. The cultures vary differently depending on city. Here in Boston, the culture is different from that of New York and Los Angeles. later! adieu! adios!
lynn (Singapore) - 11/06/2006 : Another great country i must visit.. but i really dont like their arrogance too. USA maybe the richest country in the world, but also one of the highest population living in poverty too. Nothing is perfect. But overall, i think there are really lotsa Americans that could be role models to the world.. like Angelina jolie?
read this (usa) - 14/07/2006 : every country has a bad reputation in some way. i just studied american history and bush (or any other president) cant declare war it has to do with the senate and the house of representatives dont get me wrong bush is stupid and i'm not 18 so i cant vote and i would have voted against him but he's getting all of the credit for the war and it's not good credit so give him a break

Amelia (America) - 18/03/2007 : Okay, okay, okay...Saying 'america is the best' is merely a cultural thing! It's not bragging! PLUS, why, if your country is so wise and great, would it be considerd 'bragging' to you...unless you were...(whats the word?) JELOUS. And no...America does not look down on other countries...we rather enjoy visiting and learning about other contries. Being loud is just our culture. Deal with it.

kayla (usa) - 29/04/2008 : I know you all have the right to express your opinions but I don’t think the U.S. is that good. A lot of the peoples here only think about themselves and they are very rude. In some places if you say one thing wring then you could get shot. Most people don’t look at you as a person they see clothes and money. If you don’t have a lot of money or you have bad clothes then they look at you like you are dirt. They think that they are better than you... they tend to live in their own little bubble...I mean don’t get me wrong... there are people who are the BOMB. They are just tons of fun to hag out with and they really care... they don’t live in their own little bubble. They look at the big picture... if you think I am making false accusations then please feel free to email me... I won’t judge you by what you say.
