Some people think the mountain is yellow by mistake……hahaXD

Actually it is named after a very great emperor of ancient China. Ancient Chinese regard yellow as the color of land.Because the emperor contributed a lot to the agriculture，so they called the emperor “黄帝”.Translate it straightforwardly——the Yellow Emperor.
As for the connections between the Yellow Mountain and the Yellow Emperor, it's another story.

I love this mountain，maybe it's one of the reasons why I like climbling. When the summit of the mountain lost in the cloud and mist，you feel all the things surrounding you are full of mysteries
