Hello, I am currently teaching English to 42 6th graders at a bilingual school in Spain. I was wondering if you would be interested in exchanging letters in English back and forth about the differences and similarities of our countries. Although some of my students are older I still think just the exchange of information with native English speakers will be great. My students are extremely excited to learn more about Ireland. I believe sending the letters and photos would be amazing for both of our students. I understand your class is not as big as mine. I propose that maybe one of your students to every two of mine or possibly just setting up half the class with a pen pal. What do you think? I would like to begin as soon as possible!

Hello,
I have two female students in fifth grade that want international penpals. I know that you were looking for a larger group, but if you could use two more or have two students in mind that I could connect with my students, that would be wonderful. The girls are in fifth grade and are ten years old. One loves animals and the other loves sports. We live in a small village on the coast of the northeastern USA, in the state of Maine. Both of the girls excel at writing and storytelling.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Weaver

Hello! I'm a teacher librarian and we are from S. Pedro da Cova, Porto, Portugal. We are developing an English project in our primary schools (8/9 year old students, English first year).
Our idea is to contact english native-speakers students by mail/other internet based communication system (same age, more or less) and to share cultural and country's identities, language and history. We will create an email adress for each class and our English teacher will coordinate de project.
Hope you and your class can help us.
Bestwishes,
Mariana

Hello Stephanie,
I have a classroom of 19 students that are 9-11 years old. We would love to be pen pals with your students for the remainder of the school year. If you know of any other teachers in your school/grade that would also like to participate, I have another co-teacher that would love to set up a pen pal system for her class as well.

Please let me know if we are able to arrange something!
Thank you,
Jenn Ross
