Hello, I am a homeschooling Mom. I have a 9 year old girl and 11 year old boy interested in having a penpal. I would prefer to correspond by snail mail, to help with their literacy skills.

Hope I am not too late. I would love to exchange student letters which compare cultures! I am a looping teacher (8 - 10yrs.) and would like to find someone interested in doing the same. I am from a small town in New York in a school with children from a low socioeconomic background and limited resources. I think this experience would open their eyes, their minds and their hearts. Please consider us in your decision. I look forward to hearing from you!

Please consider joining us in our "Flat Stanley" penpal project. Google "Flat Stanley" to see if it is something that interests you. I am a Kindergarten teacher in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Please contact me soon. If you send your mailing address, we will get your Stanley in the mail to you. Your students and staff would take pictures with Stanley participating in daily activities, write a letter describing activities, and return him via post. Our address is: Rogers Garden Elem., Attn: Ms. Jenny Camacho's Kindergarten Class, 515 13th Ave West, Bradenton, FL, USA 34205

I think this would be a great opportunity for our students. I need to get my principals approval. How many students do you have exaclty per grade level? So I can assess how many on our end.
Thanks.
Ms. Lynch

Dear Merav,
I love "Snail Mail". I think that it keeps my students safe. I have 23 students that are 10 or 11 years old. I would be interested in having my students learn more about your students' culture. Hope to hear from you soon!
