Hong Duc Univeristy in Thanh Hoa Province in Vietnam is looking for penpals for our International Education Department students. Our students range in age from 17 to 24 and all are taking toeic/toefl courses. To help improve their English skills (especially writing and speaking) we are looking for students in other countries who would like to communicate with our students in English (elementary, pre-intermediate and intermediate level). Thanh Hoa is a small province in the north of Vietnam and our students come from a rural, traditional Vietnamese environment. It would be a great asset for them to be able to communicate with students from around the world and hopefully form social relationships that would result in online chats (written or verbal) through Yahoo or MSN messenger etc. I am the director of English Studies and a professor on the faculty of the university. If you have a classes of students who might be interested in an 'exchange' with my classes (approximately 40 students)I would be very interested in hearing from you.
