Actualities : "Swine Flu"

So, I guess most people around the world have heard of the Swine Flu spreading through Mexico and around the world killing nearly 20 people and hospitalizing many more. This has lead to some border issues and even some countries not wanting to let Mexican citizens travel. There have also been questions as to whether or not the world is prepared to treat/prevent the spread of something like this. Also, some say that because the world was prepared for "bird flu", this made this flu less harmful.

How do you feel about the measures in place in your country to stop the spread of a pandemic like this? Should governments do more? Should the UN/WHO do more? Does the media just blow these things way out of proportion? Do you worry about illnesses like this one?

I think this is the first thread on the topic, so it will be good to hear everyone weigh in on this!

Of course, i'm worrying about it. I'm living in Hong Kong, a city in China. The children
studing in kindergarten and primary school have to stop go to school for about 2 weeks.
I don't know whether it will spread to secondary school !!
