On a cold winter's night
I look out see my breath in the air.
On wedding day I see how the sun shines on your face
When our child is born I see the glow of life in her eyes
On that night when every star is in view
You ask me this question
and I laugh
I tell you to look around
Taste the crisp breath of nature
Remember the night we met
How all of the universe existed in your mind
How else could this occur?
Fate? Perhaps a mere coincidence?
little do you know
The look a mother gives a child
The soft and tender whisper of love
What are these made of?
Magic my love. Sheer magic
When the day you leave me comes
When our child leaves the comfort of our nest
When she spreads her wings to fly
Magic will keep us bound together.
